Received this at my office today. I brought it home all excited and ready to go at it, however ,as soon as i opened the box , disappointment.
First the gig bag is ripped in 2 places along the seams. One of the tears was at least 6 inches. ( Box arrived in good condition by the way). So i went further thinking ok cheap bag. Then i went and pluged in the cord between the amp and guitar..nothing . Found out i had to twist and bend the cord just right and to my surprise it worked. So now i need to decide if it is worth just buying a new cord and bag and writing the parts off as a lesson, or pack it up send it back and start over. |

| got this in a guitar shop, same price, well worth it, much better than any other guitar package ive found and cheaper. the guitar is good, easy to handle, the amp is decent, depending on the tones your looking for, the overdrive channel is actually better than that on a crate amp ive used, the tone controls arent bad but a mid eq know would be nice, cables arent bad mine lasted about 9 months, the tuners good ive still been using it works nicely even with acoustics, but it can sometimes go awire. the learner dvd isnt bad either, only complaint ive had is the bad hum, the gig bag isnt bad either, it lasted about a year and a half before one of the straps went out, and i traded the strap for a guitar hero controller one, but it seemed fine, just dont take it on and off alot or youll wear it out. over all, its nice |

| I checked various sites online to find the right electric guitar for my son, who is 12. I wanted one that would have everything needed to start playing from day one at the right price. I also wanted to make sure it would be suitable as he grew and advanced in his playing. I feel that this guitar package fit the bill. It was packaged very carefully to ensure that it wasn't scratched or damaged in shipping. It sounds great, has a very nice case and amp (as well as the DVD, tuner, extra strings, etc.)and appears to be of high quality. My son was thrilled to receive this beautiful guitar, and I know he will have years of enjoyment of it. |

This was a great deal, a brand I was not familiar with but that really doesn't seem to be a problem. I am new to guitar so I didn't want to start out with something super expensive. It is great for a beginner like myself. The package is a great deal, you get everything you need to start playing as soon as you get the box from amazon.

This is a great guitar for beginners or professionals alike. The amp is great, and the guitar is a quality product. One of my strings broke the day I got the guitar, but we simply replaced it and moved on.
I'd highly recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a quality product at a great bargain. |

| The package arrived 10 days earlier than the estimated day. It came right on time at my daughter's 13 yrs old birthday. Thanks for Silvertone's prompt service. This package has everything you need from learning guitar, including the DVD demo. The guitar is made beautifully in dark brown color, amplifier with cables, DVD....every piece matches the description on the list. We have no complaint with the tutoring DVD but still sent my kid to a guitar lesson, where she started to play her first song. The similar package we found in Target around our neighborhood tagged as $149 plus tax. With couple bucks more, the whole pkg delivered to our front door (thinking of the gasoline price these days...) Overall, this is a good buy! |
