I bought this machine to replace a Singer that I've had for 37 years. To have the old Singer repaired would have cost nearly what I paid for the Euro Pro! As soon as I received my new sewing machine, I gave it a good work out. I was very pleased that it was quiet and smooth, unlike some of the other machines I've tried. Guess that's because of the metal mechanical parts and frame. I still have to learn and practice using all the different stitch settings. All in all, I would rate this as a "lot of quality" in a relatively inexpensive sewing machine. I hope I have it for as long as the last one!
When it worked it did well. I was very happy with how light the machine is, and small, easy to handle, compared with all my previous ones. Also the bunch of special feet were very nice too. Unfortunately I don't know if mine was a lemon, but every so often the thread would either get stuck or pushing too much thread and making loops without me making any changes in the settings. What seemed to make things worse was pressing the reverse function. Didn't try the advanced features. Just returned it.
I've had this machine for about 5 years, replacing a Montgomery Ward machine purchased in 1978. I love it! I'm not an avid sewer but use it to make household items like pillows, slipcovers, etc. as well as occasional quilting and misc. fabric art pieces. It fills the bill perfectly. I've sewn denim slipcovers for my sofa with no problem and stiched up a 2nd hand wedding dress of silk satin and lace into a costume for a mystery dinner play. It handled it all with no problems. Since it isn't fancy most things are intuitive and for the rest I refer to the updated manual that I saved as a pdf on my computer. (I go months between uses I tend to forget how to accomplish things like oiling or using twin needles, etc.)If you have one of these machines and need to know how to use specialized feet or the twin needles, then get the manual here: http://www.euro-pro.com/europro/manuals/7500XH.pdf I didn't give it 5-stars because if I were to buy a machine today, I would probably get one with a self winding/self-threading bobbin- but if you don't need all those computerized bells and whistles, then this machine is just what you're looking for.

Fast mailing, got it before we thought we would. Easy to use
light weight very good product.
I've never owned a sewing machine before, but I love this machine. I am taking a quilting class and it has done everything I've wanted it to do! I love it and it is so smooth, easy to use and wonderful! I would recommend it to anyone!
I wasn't familiar with the brand, but this is one quality machine. It is well-built and solid and very easy to use and learn, even if you have never used a sewing machine before. The built in storage area under the floor is perfect for my needs, only using it for small projects. The carrying case and compact size make it easy to manuever and handle. I have owned it for 2.5 years and have no complaints.
