| This compact Thermos is excellent for how HOT it keeps the coffee, and what is also incredible is that it is Light & Compact, it fits perfectly in my backpack. Before I ordered the Thermos, I read some of the reviews and have to agree with 99% of them on the Lightness, Compact, and most important of all How Well it Maintains the Temperature of the Liquid. A great Bargain for what it costs. |

| All the reviews are true. This thermos is fantastic. Fits in car cupholder. Super easy to clean. Excellent for travel. Compact and slim to easily fit into a backpack or any other type of bag without taking up a lot of space. Of course it keeps hot liquids hot for many hours. I won't drone on about how fantastic this works for hot stuff, others have already said plenty. I also use it for milk. I have left milk in the thermos for 12 hours (twelve hours) with no ice and it's still about as cold as it went in. I did not test it with a thermometer but milk doesn't lie when it's just a little cool, or room temp...as it's really obvious because I like really cold milk. Now I get the best of both worlds. Since it has a stainless steel interior I just rinse it out with soapy water, irregardless if it's coffee or milk. Strong too. I dropped mine a few times onto a sidewalk and in a couple parking lots, but has had absolutely no effect on performance, just a couple of character marks. I would buy it again without question. |

| This is a great thermos. I use it to bring my coffee to work everyday. It's not that big but large enough to provide me with the caffeine fix I need. The throat is quite small as well so I first pour my coffee into a large cup, add sugar and cream, and stir. Then I pour it into my thermos and head out the door. Keep the coffee piping hot for hours. I am very satisfied with this thermos. |

Yes, this works well as a thermos for hot or cold drinks, fits in a car cupholder, and is stainless steel rather than plastic. I bought two of these to take hot drinks and/or cold water to work. I don't know where they are because I quit using them.
I hate having to fool with two lids every time I want to open or close this bottle. The little cup is pretty well useless. The only use I could see for it is if you were using this thermos to carry mouthwash. As other reviewers note, it is handy for containing leaks if the lid isn't screwed down securely enough. But that's about it.
I bought a Nissan 18-oz hydration bottle Thermos Nissan Stainless Steel Hydration Bottle, 18-Ounce at the same time I bought the two insulated bottles. That is what I carry to work all the time now. I much prefer the hydration bottle because of the single-handed open/close to take a drink...handy when driving or working. I also like the fact that there is only one lid to unscrew to clean/refill it. Unfortunately, the hydration bottle is strictly for cold drinks.
But never fear, Nissan has a solution for me: the backpack bottle Thermos Nissan 16 Ounce Stainless Steel Backpack Bottle, Smoke Color...if you can find it in stock. It has the same advantages as the hydration bottle, AND works for hot drinks. I can take hot tea and cocoa to work again! Life is good!
In short, if you are thinking of getting this bottle, spend the extra money to get a Nissan's backpack bottle. The backpack bottle is by far easier to use and live with. I found some with a logo screened on them available for immediate shipment for less than $25/each. If you insist on getting this one, you may get a better price at a chain drugstore or Walmart.

I read many reviews of this product on Amazon and the Thermos website. Firstly, it is CHEAPER to purchase from Amazon, and Amazon have a better returns policy than the Thermos website.
Secondly, I have not had ANY problems getting the cap to screw on properly, nor has the cap begun to smell like burnt rubber, which were both concerns expressed by other reviewers.
Finally, this works brilliantly with both cold and hot liquids, and holds much more than I was expecting. Easy to clean, and really really lightweight.
I have had NO problems with it whatsoever. |

| I bought this item because a friend of mine had purchased a really nice one from Hong Kong. She spend about $50 USD for hers. This one is just as great and for a fraction of the cost. |
