"Good sound, cheap, but break easily" | 2009-06-29 |

I've been using various Koss headphones with the same drivers for years. There are better sounding headphones on the market, but no over the ear, small headphone within $50 of these sound as good. My first pair, KSC55 I think, were very similar to these with one major design flaw. The clips were easy to catch on things and broke off. The KSC75 fixes this flaw by making the clips detachable. They still catch easily, but they snap in and out instead of breaking off.
Both pairs of KSC75s I had lost sound in one ear after a few months of daily use and being carried around in my backpack. I suspect the cords simply don't take being wrapped up well. I used one pair daily for over a year without any problems, but I left it at my desk the whole time.
Koss replaced them under their lifetime warranty without any problems. The new pairs they sent me both have straight headphone jacks instead of angled ones. I slightly prefer the angled ones myself, but these new ones are iPhone compatible. I've stopped wrapping the cords most of the time, and hopefully these new pairs will last longer. |

"Great headphones & can't beat the price" | 2009-06-26 |

| Like most everyone else, I can give these headphones a top notch rating. They will blow away anything else even close to their price range. They fit snugly over the ear but not too tight. I use them while exercising at the gym and have no problems with them slipping off. The cord is also plenty long enough. However, the most important part is the sound. They give a good base sound that is full, rich and more pleasing than the ear buds stuck deep in your ear canal. All this for the price of about $12-$13. Very happy with these!! |

| Great sound for the price! Sounds better connected to headphone amp, but sounds good with mp3 players also. Sound is not as good as Grado, but it is a fraction of the price so no complaints! Very comfortable. |

"Still a real "Best Buy"" | 2009-06-22 |

I have both the original KSC-35 and the KSC-75. Both have similar sound, using the same titanium driver as the PortaPro; however I feel the KSC-35 has a more natural sound. It has better bass and cleaner highs.
I have heard some people say they find the KSC-35 uncomfortable and the KSC-75 comfortable. I find exactly the opposite, which I why I gave them a lower rating. I have smaller ears that lie closer to my head and the rubber coated clips on the KSC-75 separate my ear from my head too far. The longer I wear them the more pain I feel. An hour or so causes a few couple of discomfort to my ears. Because the KSC-35 has a narrower clip, I find them effortless to wear. However there is a seam that runs along the edge of the clip that can be sharp but after a few passes with a nail file they are completely smooth.
If you want great sound in a cheap package, Koss has your answer. These are great pocket headphones that won't irritate your ears or your wallet. If you don't like clip-ons, then I recommend the PortaPro. They are the best headphone bang for the buck, period. I've had mine for 25 years and love them more today than ever. Either way, you won't go wrong, just remember to ask your ears how they feel about it too. |

I've owned these for years and have brought them everywhere I travel. They even survived through a rough year living in a dorm. They've got to be made out of some indestructible plastic I've never seen! Instead of breaking the latches just pop off -- simply pop them back into place and it's like nothing ever happened.
Besides the durability, the audio quality is more than satisfactory. These are the best sounding portable earphones I own. |

Pros: Very impressive sound quality, very lightweight and easy to place on your ears. Good bass - not overbearing - and great highs.
Cons: The wires are very thin & lightweight; I have a feeling that I'll break one by accidentally pulling it too hard.
Overall, these perform very well for the price -- excellent boom for the buck. They don't muffle or cover external sounds, so they're not so great on an airplane, but it's good for talking to other people without removing them. |

"Wonderful sound, poor quality control" | 2009-06-06 |

I bought these for my Sansa Fuze, and the sound quality was unbelievable. Absolutely worth what I paid, unfortunately you do get what you pay for. I bought these mid-April, it's now June 5th and one of my headphones has randomly stopped working.
Koss does have a warranty, but for the price of shipping I might as well buy a new pair.
These are excellent headphones for their sound quality and comfort, but be wary as the quality control could be a lot better.
That aside, I will be buying a new pair. The sound for the price is a good deal. Hoping this next pair work and stay working for longer than two months. |

| I'm not sure who would have trouble putting these on. If you've ever worn glasses, it is obvious how they work. They are wonderful...really light weight, GREAT sound, nothing sticking in your ear. I also don't think they "spray" sound as much as some people have indicated...you have to have the volume up to dangerous levels before they'd bother anyone else. I'd recommend these HIGHLY. |

Koss KSC75 Portable Stereophone Headphones
Don't be fooled by their similar design to the Sony and Panasonic clip-on headphones. I've owned a few pairs of Koss KSC75 clip-on headphones. There's no comparison. These headphones have THE WORST sound quality. It's muffled, and doesn't respond well to bass. They're also very fragile. I've had these break literally 10 minutes after I took them out of the package. Also, the clip is very awkwardly placed.
There is a reason why you see these headphones cheaper than the rest in retail electronic stores. However, since they're around the same price on Amazon, I definitely recommend going with Sony MDR-Q22LP clip-on headphones instead. |

First a quick warning to all, there appear to be TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS of this SAME MODEL NUMBER! One has the inline volume control and the other does NOT.
I have two pairs of these headphones, one with the volume control which I love and the other that I bought here on Amazon without the volume control. Otherwise the same exact headphones.
So, if you care about that feature be sure to find out first which version they have!
I really like these headphones a lot with or without the volume control.
These are the ONLY clip-on style earphones I have found that are comfortable for wearing for long periods of time. I also find them a lot easier to properly adjust to my ears, and these will stay adjusted and not make my ears sore unlike the five other clip-on headphones I had tried before finding these.
And when I say "long periods of time" I mean up to five to eight hours at a time. Such as when I'm programming all night long or just doing chores like laundry. =^.^=
And since these are open ear phones I can still hear what is going on around me like the phone ringing or cars/horses, etc when I am hiking or shopping.
BTW, getting these headphones properly adjusted will improve the sound considerably. If they are too loose (not flat against your ear) they may not sound right. The closer, and flatter, they are to your ear the better they will sound. It can make a huge difference.
