I have owned these speakers for 4 years now, and I'm still pleased with my purchase. When I got them, they were a little pricey (by today's standards) but were affordable at the time. I used them at my desk for a couple of years and was able to turn them down so low that my cube-farm mates were not disturbed. They are not the kind of speakers that you buy for filling a room with thundering bass, but their response range at low to medium levels is quite good. Another great feature of these is that when the iPod is docked, it's being charged (when using the AC adapter, not on battery power) These are not available new anymore, but a couple of places offer them used at a fraction of the original price...might be a good deal! |

| I've had my i-Station for 3 years now. I use it mostly at work, so keep the volume low. But I've taken it home and cranked it up and the sound is wonderful for its size and price. Never had a single problem with it and from the others I've seen, this is the best for the money. |

| I purchased these speakers about a year ago. I was looking for something that I could tote around but still have a semi-decent sound. I took this thing everywhere, the beach, camping, bathroom, and my bedroom. The higher the volume the more distorted the sound quality became, and also the music would start to skip the higher the volume was(and it was not the mp3 file). Also to get a fuller sound I would have to lay down a towel or some sort of cushion in order to not hear the speakers rattle against the counter/table where it was placed. Buy something else! |

I've had these speakers for about a year and a half. The distortion factor has always been a bit of an issue. But usually the volume is low enough that it wasn't an issue and the sound was fine. However, as the speakers age, the distortion increases. Now after a year and a half choral numbers where large groups are singing together get distorted. Not even that large of groups either. I still keep the volume pretty low and the speakers now distort more than ever. I don't travel much with them. So I have no idea about the distortion factor increasing other than just from regular almost daily use.
Yeah they're a good buy and I was very impressed at the begining, but if they don't last I'm bummed. |

| I got these for my 8- and 10-year-olds for christmas and didn't want to spend too much. The sound is absolutely perfect for their second generation nanos as well as my 1st generation nano. They come with multiple adapters to fit a multitude of MP3 players. I love the fact that you can plug them in, but they take batteries as well. Also, the speaker station charges the ipods too! Can't ask for anything more. |

| I don't have much to compare it to but this has worked really well for me. I can get clear sound loud enough to hear it in a bunch of different rooms - and that's what I was looking for! |
