| My son got so many toys this Christmas. This is by far his favorite! This is so fun that even the grown up are walking around using the mask. Everyone wants to do the Darth Vader voice. This is just the best thing out there. |

My son wore this for Halloween and it really made his costume look great!
It was a little heavy for walking around the neighborhood, but great for a party. He continues to enjoy it. |

darth vader, one of the most prominent villains in the entertainment world, can now be you! hasbro's star wars darth vader voice changer helmet makes that possible. toddlers, teenagers, and adults alike can enjoy this toy, thanks to its relatively large size and adjustable belt/strap that can accommodate the largest of faces. no matter what your age is, you can still feel the power of the dark side.
the voice changing apparatus can be set in 3 pitch levels - low, moderate, high. this features enables users with voices of any pitch to sound like darth vader without any problem. having a chipmunk-like voice or one very deep voice won't be stopping you from getting in touch with the dark side.
you can also remove the helmet from the darth vader face mask with ease. so if you ever get tired of being darth vader, you can just wear the helmet and become one of his minions.
one problem with the voice changer though is that those around you would still be able to hear your natural voice coming from your mouth. maybe it's because there are little holes in the mouth area of the helmet that lets air enter the mask so as to prevent suffocation. so if you're planning to fool your friends over the phone, the product might not satisfy your expectations.
overall, regardless of its flaws, still makes one heck of a toy. a must have for any starwars fan. |

I bought this mask for my 6-year old for Halloween, and while I don't think it's the best choice for trick-or-treating, it has been a GREAT toy. All three of my children (ages 8, 6, and 3) have had a blast listening to themselves as "Darth" in the voice changing mode. (The mask has an adjuster strap and fit everyone in our family.) My sons would roll on the floor laughing when their 3-year old sister would say, "You don't know the power of the dark side!" in Darth voice. The "breathing" mode is my favorite, though - it sounds very realistic!
Again, I wouldn't recommend it for trick-or-treating (even though he got numerous compliments from the other "Darths" in the neighborhood), it does make for a good toy. It's not something you'd want to have on your head for an extended period. |

| I got this helmet along with the Deluxe Child Darth Vader Costume for my 4yr old as part of his Halloween ensemble. It was a huge hit. While trick or treating, people were stopping him on the street to take his picture! The helmet will also fit adults (we've all played with it). The phrases and the breathing are good but the actual voice changer is pretty lame (the voice changer in the Optimus Prime helmet is MUCH better) but overall, it's a great toy and my son loves it and it MADE his costume. |

I put it on, and of course, like all the "1"s said, the head peace busted right off (that's what I get for being born with a big head) --- but it's not as bad as they say, you can put it back on if you know how to work it right...
But lets get real, this thing does not make you sound like Darth unless you have your ear right up to the little speaker that will sit on your chest.
It's really kind of weird that they put the speaker at the base of the control panel... if you were really short, and the person wearing it were really tall, maybe then it would make sense...
Anyway, long story short, but the TRANSFORMERS voice changing helmet... the Darth Vader one is kind of lame. |

| My daughter is very pleased that she will have the perfect Darth Vadar head for halloween. Had to repair the strap holding the voice box on and couldn't find the button to release the helmet according to the directions. But looks good. |

| So inexpensive we had to get two. One for my three year old boy and the other for my 5 year old boy. They just LOVE 'em. Three weeks after we received them and they still put them on their heads several times a day. My only complaint is that the shell splits away from the mask (as designed), but a bit too easily. Since my boys' heads are so small they don't need to split the helmet to take it on or off, so I just taped it together with some strong duct tape. |

| My son has a friend who would not let him borrow his Darth Vader Voice Changer - Mom began the search. I went to toy stores and shopped on foot before I got smart and looked on Amazon. Since this toy is no longer in circulation, I thought I would not be so lucky. Found it! Once the order was placed I was concerned when (after 5 days) I did not get a shipping notification. As is Amazon policy, they ask you contact the vendor. I was very pleased with the quick response to my questions. Customer service immediately shipped the product out the same day as my call. My son LOVES the Voice Changer and will put it to very good use on Halloween (and all the play times in between). The product is very good. The actual "voice changer" is not going to be Hollywood perfect, but the pre-recorded Darth Vader phrases bring him right into your living room. Thanks again. |
