We purchased 2 kits for our twin granddaughters,who are 6 3/4 yrs.
They even loved the packaging! Each horse was so carefully wrapped; no nicks, no rough edges, or broken parts.
The paint colors are true and cover well. When they finished painting all the pieces, they set up the corrals and played all afternoon.
We intend to add to their sets in the future.
What an enjoyable experience for us all. |

| I bought this kit for my daughter's 7th birthday party. She just loves horses and wanted a horse party theme. My older daughter painted the stable for her and at the party we had all the guests sign the roof. I bought a few of the Horse Family kits and each of the children got to paint a wooden horse to take home. The kids loved it and my daughter has the stable as a great keepsake and memory of the party. She even made hay out of yarn and keeps her little horses inside. She told me this was her best birthday party ever. A great idea for all the horse lovers out there! |

I got this kit for a niece. I was first impressed with the solid construction of the horse stable doors. They swing open with well attached hinges. The entire stable shows quality craftsmanship. There are nice details, such as a grooved roof and lattice patterned doors. With unfinished wooden toys, I always inspect them to make sure there are no rough edges that can hurt little hands. All the wooden pieces and edges in this kit were smoothly sanded.
Apparently, horses from other toy manufacturers fit into this stable, in addition to those from the manufacturer.
I think this is a nice alternative to electronic games. With all the birthday parties my niece attends, I think these arts and crafts kits are perfect gifts. Wish I got them when I was a kid! |
