"Two year LOVES this toy!" | 2008-08-14 |

After reading the reviews.. I bought this toy for my daughter for her second birthday. I had absolutely no idea she would fall in love with this toy.. my goodness, she LOVES it!
Two months later, she plays with it every single day. She has mastered all the pieces.. educational value is through the roof. She knows exactly what all the pieces are and the corresponding sound to the animals.. and she knows where to put all the pieces once they are all out. She loves lifting up the flap and seeing all the animals.
One thing I want to note. This toy only gets a 4 star for durability b/c the magnetic pieces are wood with a paper picture on top - my daughter put one of the pieces in her mouth, and the paper has torn. I do wish the pictures of the animals, plan, farmer, etc. were painted on instead. So dont let your child put the pieces in their mouth!
Overall, highly recommend this toy.. do not listen to the "recommended age" for this toy - my 2 year old daughter loves it, perfect age for her.. and very educational regarding building up memory skills of where everything goes. By far one of the best toys we have for her. |

| We got this to entertain our 16 month old son while we all sat and watched a 2 hour hockey game. He loved it! I like that the pieces are magnetic and don't fall out when it's tipped over. Sometimes he wasn't able to get the pieces out on his own due to the magnets, but he was able to do it within a few more months. Getting the pieces back in was a cinch from the beginning - a great way to start out before trying the more advanced puzzles. Great toy - I am a believer in Melissa Doug toys! |

My 20-month old is fascinated with this clever toy, and I expect it to hold her interest as her abilities continue to develop. She loves to open and close all of the hiding spots and to move the animals around into different places.
For now, she's trying to put more than one animal behind one door and the doors won't always shut. So that will keep her challenged and curious. Plus, she has yet to figure out that the magnets will stick to the fridge.
There's lots to learn and explore with this very clever, well-designed and economical toy!! |

| This was a prop for my sign language class that my 11 month old daughter stumbled onto. I kept hearing cheering and went to see what toy she was playing with. She had pulled this out, was opening and closing a door on it, cheering "yeah!" every time she saw the animal underneath. Within a few days, she found out the animals came out. She's been taking them out and putting them back in all morning. This toy has kept her busy for 20 minutes at a time. The suggested age states 3 years, so I would never had given it to her on my own. She just loves it. |

"Great Activity for 2 year olds." | 2005-11-30 |

| My toddler LOVED this puzzle. It is a high quality puzzle that will not fall apart. However, I disagree with the age recomendations on this. Our toddler recieved this as a Christmas gift last year and was only 16 months old. He played with it then and mastered it a few months later. It's a great activity to take to church because it's quiet and keeps little ones busy for a little while. At 28 months old, he doesn't play with it near as much. I believe older children would be really bored with this. |

I love this puzzle and my daughter does too. Most of the pieces can go in different spots, so there's not always only one right answer. The doors are surprisingly sturdy even after many uses. I lost two pieces and called the manufacturer- the replacement pieces are on their way- no questions asked. I like the magnetic feature. It keeps the pieces in the puzzle more than the average puzzle. Overall I am always pleased with their products. |

| This puzzle is a wonderful way to spend time with your child. It is great for opening up and communicating with your toddler. My son (2 1/2 years) learns best through doing so he doesn't like to sit for too long. When I first sat down and showed him this puzzle we played with it for 25 mins. He had so much fun hiding the animals and opening and closing the doors. It has continued to hold his interest and prompted him to talk more....a big plus for us. I have high praise for this puzzle and all interactive puzzles. They provide, learning, communication and great fun! |

| I bought this puzzle for my 10-month-old daughter because she loves flap books - the hide and seek hinged pieces are perfect for her little fingers to open and close. The pieces that are hiding aren't too small and are easy for her to take out. She's loved it. |
