It's lightweight and has allowed me to get things done and not have to worry about what my daughter is getting into. She can play in there forever and seems to really like it. Very pleased with the purchase. One downside (also listed as an upside) is that it is lightweight. It moves very easily; so like I said, this is a good thing and a bad thing. Just something to keep in mind. We purchased a mat to go under it so it keeps it from sliding all over.
My daughter is one curious little girl. Forget the toys. If she spies a piece of paper across the room, she prefers the paper to her toys. So obviously, I needed some sort of enclosure to "contain" said curiousity. This Playzone was the answer to my prayers. At first I was worried that she'd feel trapped in a cage, but the minute my husband & I placed her inside, she started happily cruising along the walls. Two months later, she still loves her play area- as do we!
If I can make a recommendation, buy at least two extensions. At first, we created an oval with our playzone +2, which gave us just enough room to play inside with our daughter and all her toys. (Any smaller and she wouldn't have any room to navigate with her cart or wagon.) My husband then rearranged it so that our sofa created another wall, therby creating an even larger play area for the little one. Worked even more wonders.
All in all, I highly recommend this. Yes, it's pricey, but well worth the money.

In his category, it is the best, because is unique.
The only issue is with the unions, if the baby is strong, can move easly the playground
My 1-yr-old is incredibly active, & as much as I love to play with her, I DO have to do other things! So this is a great place to "park" her for a bit, where I know she'll be pretty safe. But even when I do sit down to play, it's easier and more fun because she's contained, and so she's not distracted by whatever else is way across on the other side of the room that just might be more interesting!! BUT, BUY TWO & PUT THEM TOGETHER, & you will get a very good-sized play area (about 6X8 feet, depending on how you shape it) in which you & your child can easily play together (even with a bunch of toys all over AND adding Dad or Grandma!) Oh, & it is RIDICULOUSLY easy to put together & even move from room to room if you need to!

I am a great grandmother to a 10-month-old, very active, boy. I baby sit him in the mornings. As soon as he could crawl, i could not sit down. I saw your playzone online and ordered it immediately. It is a blessing. I can cook or leave the room without fear. It is good size the way it comes, but as he gets older, I will probably order extensions. I looked at some in the stores but they looked like dog pens. I couldn't do that. Thank you for the wonderful, colorful yard that has sounds and lights. I would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent baby gate- better than the ones that actually look like cages. Do yourself a favor and buy at least one extension kit- you'll thank yourself later when you get it home. We actually bought 2 extensions and a mat for the floor (it doesn't cover everything but it helps). I freaked out when i saw the shipping charge - it was nearly 60$ for all of the items we bought!- but we bit the bullet and did it anyway because there is nothing out there like this. All friends that come over that have children constantly ask where we got it because it is so versatile and no ones seen anything like it. Batteries come with the activity wall, so that was a small (but nice) bonus. Our 9 month old doesn't seem to mind at all and he's not terribly confined. If you are looking for a gate/fence type thing to at least section off an area of your house (whether you want it enclosed or open) this is the perfect item for you!
