After purchasing the Waring Pro WMK300 and getting just 1 1/2 waffle breakfasts.... (it failed during second day I used it... returned) I agree this is the only waffle maker you need.
Great product! Crispy waffle sticks are made really quickly. My nephews come during weekends and they love these combined with jelly, whipped cream, condensed milk..mmmmm... fruits, honey, chocolate... High quality and easy to operate. Highly recommended! |

I first submitted a one star review, but after my sons wife showed me how to do it correctly, after a whole box of mix and several batches later, I now give it a 4 star.
Tried and true method. 6_14_08!
CUISINART DIP-8 Stainless Steel Waffle Dippers Sticks Maker Waffle directions (tried and true 6_14_08)
1. pre heat to 3 1/2 on dial 2. coat surface each batch with paper towel and vegetable oil 3. Box Hungry Jack pancake/waffle mix (DO NOT USE Kroger Brand, that was my mistake) 4. 2 cups Hungry Jack 5. water 1 1/4 cup 6. 1/4 cup oil 7. 1 lg egg 8. mix ... no lumps 9. using 1 cup measuring cup, fill down center of waffle maker. May need slightly more than 1 cup to even out. 10. close lid, wait for about 3 minutes or until beep has sounded. 11. Now give an extra 20 seconds then lift lid. using plastic whatever, slowly and I do mean slowly, lift corner of waffle and pull up and across length of waffle maker. 12. Walla,... perfect stick waffles. 13. Have melted butter, warmed syrup, strawberries, blueberries, etc. ready and Delight Yourself! 14. Believe me, it takes practice, but after about a box of mix and 4 batches of waffles, you should be a perfect waffle maker!

This waffle maker makes six great tasting, perfectly cooked waffle sticks that are great for kids (and adults alike). The dunkin' tray with three compartments is small but adequate. You can chose which setting you would like for how 'done' the waffles are. I set it at a medium-well and they came out perfect. They also were easy to get out of the appliance. The only complaint was a little difficulty in cleaning. The grills don't come out and you have to get a little creative to get into the deep crevices of the griddle. A brush works o.k. and the heat of the waffle iron self-cleans any remaining crumbs. I haven't used it a lot so I can't speak for the long-term use of this appliance, but so far so good. Like I said, the waffles are perfect.

I LOVE THIS WAFFLE MAKER!! Who knew it was so easy?!! it beeps when it is preheated. you have to experiment a little to know how much batter, but you pour in the batter, spread it out with a rubber spatula and close the top. When it beeps, they are done! The nonstick surface is excellent! They come off attached so you can break them apart into sticks or serve them in bigger portions. We like setting #4. And they come out perfect everytime! The booklet comes with recipies including one to make your own mix. A+++

My kids just loved these wafflesticks. I doubled the basic recipe using 3 whole eggs and they were a hit. The maker is easy to clean, browns nicely (I used setting 4) It's a nice size...not too big and stores compactly on it's side. It's too bad Cuisinart is discontinuing it.

I bought this to add some fun to our weekend breakfasts. It has been a big hit with the kids! They love the sticks, I love how easy it is to use. If you follow the simple directions, there is no batter leakage and waffles come out easily. The beep when done is a real plus - no watching for the light to go off. We loved it so much we bought a second one for the grandparents!

We love this waffle-stick maker! I like how you can either keep it as a few bigger waffles, or break them apart into strips. The non-stick surface allows them to easily come out of the waffle maker. We already had a waffle maker, but I wanted this one for the kids. And they love the waffle sticks for a snack.
