This is a great little machine. I owned a Shark and the two don't even come close. I got the MC-1275 a few days ago and have gone crazy cleaning everything. I cleaned the baseboards, walls, kitchen, bathrooms, mirrors, windows, and floors. The hose gets warm, so I let it cool for about 10mins inbetween each chore. Love this little work horse!

product worked well on tile grout in bath and kitchen. Worked pretty well on brake dust on auto mag wheels. Worked well on grease on kitchen range hood. Well woth the $100.00 price paid.

I normally don't take the time to write reviews on anything... but this product deserves it.
First the delivery was really fast (2 days), with normal shipping.
When I got this I had to try it right away. I had a lot of expectations and was not disappointed. I started with the bathroom because I always fear that it smells like a public restroom in some gas station in a small town (yes, I did put a lot of thought into this). My youngest son had dropped propolis (iIt's a product found south of the border and it's a honey based natural medication excellent for colds etc.) on the bathroom floor.... Although this steam cleaner was not able to take all of it off it did make it much, much lighter. Around the toilet in that spot where the toilet seat meets the toilet bowl and that seems to be the hiding place for misplaced urine droplets it work miracles....
Used on the grout, mirrors, laminate floors, showers, faucets, carpet, tile, walls and doors (6 panel doors seemed to be a dust deposit) and it did an amazing job on all those surfaces as well. Still haven't figured out how to use it efficiently on the bathtub, but I'll get there.. baby steps...
It is a little loud and I felt like I had just left a rock concert after using it. I had that muffled feeling in my ears. Specially after using it in smaller rooms with no windows. But function has its price.
I would definitely recommend it!!
I think the smell in my house is fresher and with 3 kids, 2 pets and a husband I can use the smell of freshness!

We had a hand held steamer for years but it dissapeared. I saw someone usew the McCulloch 1274A and I was impressed. I went on line and saw the very same thing at Amazon.I purchased one and we use it all of the time with great results.

Originally was going to go for one of the small infomercial steamers and after reading inter net reviews, was convinced this would be a better investment in the long run. After a few uses I had to send unit back because it went dead, apparently a cord defect. Company gave no hassles. They repaired and sent exact unit back. Took about three weeks. Good long steam time. Don't expect it to clean everything the way you'd like, still need to use degreasers for my stove and at times I wonder if it will strip its ceramic type surface over the long run. Great for mirrors, windows, toilets, tile, stainless steal appliances. Terrific to remove mold that builds around window frames (ours are metal). Humidifies house a bit. Pretty strong blast of steam so make sure to use the safety precautions. Small attachments are cheap and will wear quickly.

Over all I appreciate what this unit has to offer, we use it once or twice a month and it fits our needs. Would recommend. Loaned it to a relative who recently moved and they hope to purchase one in the future.

Great Product!!! Would highly recommend it. Just bought a house that has a very large gas stove. After lifting the grates and plates it looked like it had never been cleaned. Large amount of burnt grease and food. Steam cleaner did the job and the brass brush was a great help, have to get another one. Plenty of steam and pressure to clean the toughest jobs.
