"machine gun grease gun" | 2007-09-05 |

| I have several pneumatic grease guns. I bought this one because my others were less than reliable. Always had to prime them, and still didn't always work. So far, the Lincoln works everytime I pick it up, pushes grease through with lots of power, and is ultra fast (maybe a touch too fast). I love it. |

| Thumbs up in all cases -- easy to handle, and easy to load. It is much better than cheaper brands (and I have owned several). |

| I had purchased another air gun at a local auto store, but I couldn't get it to prime or work. I was skeptical to purchase another air gun, but decided on a Lincoln. Very well built, very easy to operate. I couldn't ask for a better product. I would highly recommend this model. |

"This Grease Gun is Really Slick !!" | 2005-11-09 |

I have a Cub Cadet 3206 tractor with many, many zerk fittings and this gun makes short work of a previously tedious (with a hand gun) greasing session. It comes, from the factory, set up for cartridge loading, although it can be converted for bulk loading. The instructions for cartridge loading are a bit vague, but once understood, it is very simple to load. I found it a lot easier to load if you loosen or remove the grease chamber, to allow air to enter while you are "cocking" the follower rod. Then install the grease cartridge, pull the seal on the cartridge, screw and tighten the chamber into place. Then, after uncocking, ROTATE THE FOLLOWER ROD about 1/4 turn and push it back into the chamber. It should go back very easily. If not, then you have not released the rod from the spring loaded cup. Do not force the rod into place. The gun works very well with my rather small (2 gallon, .7 SCFM) compressor. With the regulator set at about 50 - 75 PSI, it will do a fine job of greasing without skipping a beat. The finish quality of the gun is very high and it feels good in the hand. Although it comes with a quick release air fitting, you may have to make a trip to the hardware store to find the one that fits your particular air line. Be certain to use a bit of teflon thread seal when you install the fitting. |
