Simple design, easy to install (just screw bracket into a wall stud and snap cover on). Relatively easy to lift bicycle into and off of bracket. I probably mounted mine a little too high (about 7 feet), a foot lower would make it much easier to put bike on/off bracket. The only concern I would have is if you have kids, it seems possible that they could twist the bike off the bracket and have it fall on them.
Overall a great product, that provides a simple compact storage system for one bicycle and multiple brackets can be installed to accommodate more.

Works good with my road bike, easy to hook tire, On my Mountain bike its a different story, With a larger tire you have to really angle the wheel to get it to hook the tire and just as hard to get the wheel out. Protects the wheel fairly well.
The Racor bike rack was easy to install and takes up very little space in the garage. It allowed me to get our bikes off the floor and free up floor space. The only downside is that my wife has trouble getting the heavier bikes down off the wall. Also, our "cruisers" with the big tires are hard to hang. It would be nice to have a rack with a bigger hook for those bikes with bigger tires.
The item is solid, however the cover plate is a little loose when the wheel is resting on it. The instructions said to mount the hanger on a stud, however I used two 50lbs drywall anchor screws. So far so good, my bike is only slightly lighter than 40lbs.
The white color can get dirty quickly.

Great bike rack. Looks nice. I have it holding my mens 17.5" Trek mountain bike. I have it hanging above my cat liter box, so it's important to be high quality and so far it proves to be so. If I could change anything I would ask that the hook that holds the bike be a little bigger, so the gap would be wider to get my tire through the clearance to hang it. Not really a problem at all, it would just be more convenient. It's great to find a bike rack that holds mountain bikes...usually they are only made to fit road bikes. Word of advice....don't use the screws that came with it. Go to the hardware store and buy some expensive high quality wood screws...the kind that screw into the wood with a drill...without needing a pilot hole. It will make it a lot easier to get the screws into the studs. The studs are very dense wood and most screw heads will get stripped.
I took off the foam pad...it lasted about 5 minutes. It's not needed anyways...what matters is that the steel is high quality and will not bend. That is really the only thing that matters.
Update: After a few days, I am bumping this up to 5 stars. Really impressed...the hook has not bent or given in any way.
I got two of these to mount my road bikes in a corner of my room. Mounting them in the corner is not the best idea because it can be quite tricky getting the back wheel in the right spot with spokes and valve stems and a bike next to it and all that stuff. Mounting was easy enough, I put some large anchors through the drywall and it's held strong for around 6 months. Construction quality on the hardware seems good, can't complain. If you can find these in a bike shop they'll be way more expensive.
