"Great sound in a compact, portable package" | 2009-10-08 |

| Great product. Altec-Lansing and others make larger units, each with bigger sound, but they are just too clunky and heavy to be really portable. This one folds into the size of a paperback, sets up in a second and gives nice sound. I'm an audiobook addict, so I have one plugged in in the kitchen and another on batteries that I can carry around the house with me, throw in a suitcase for trips, etc. The remote control is very handy as well. |

"Great sound, but no recharge for 4G Nano" | 2009-09-12 |

I bought this because I wanted a system which provides excellent sound while I'm on the road, and I travel quite a lot. As far as the sound goes, it's excellent. The remote is also a nice touch. Setup is extremely easy, and the travel pouch makes storing and packing the unit a breeze.
My only complaint is that the unit does not recharge my 4G iPod Nano while it's attached. In fact, it seems to drain the iPod's power even when not playing music; in the morning the iPod is almost always drained, even if I played music for only a short time. Perhaps this feature was covered in information available to me before I purchased the unit, but I cannot remember reading it.
But as long as you know you will need to recharge your 4G Nano each morning, then this is an excellent unit to purchase. |

"Nice for travel or office; not fully compatible with Nano 4th Gen" | 2009-08-11 |

I've used the iM3c for over a year have have liked its portability and reasonable sound (for its size). I've used it at home as a docking station, at work as a speaker system, and on frequent domestic and international trips in hotel rooms. The selection of electrical plugs is extremely handy on international trips. I ended up never using battery power.
My iPod died and I bought a Nano (4th Gen) to replace it. As with many other devices I(including my car stereo), *the inMotion iM3c does not charge this model Nano.* It plays fine, but this incompatibility undermines the unit's usefulness for me.

| This product is exactly what I expected. It's perfect for outdoor bbq's. The sound is great. It comes with different attachments for all kinds of ipods. We can even hook our shuffle up to it. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an inexpensive alternative to Bose speakers for their ipod. |

"Everything is great EXCEPT..." | 2009-04-09 |

I am a massage therapist and bought this little sound system for my office to use during sessions. The sound is fine, everything is fine EXCEPT! When my iPod transitions from track to track, the speakers pop when one track ends and another begins. It's a small thing, but an extremely annoying one that happens several times during a session. It doesn't happen on any other sound system I've tried, so I was surprised and disappointed when I noticed it happening on this one.
Now I've got to go get another system and I'm going to buy it in-store somewhere so I don't run into this problem again. |

| Music sounds great on this small audio system. We love the portability. I have taken the speakers to work, gym, cruise, guitar lessons. My teenage daughter permanently borrowed our first Altec Lansing in Motion iM3C, so I had to buy a second one. |
