"Not what's pictured, but still nice" | 2007-12-17 |

| The toys are not all the same as the ones in the above picture, but this still is a very nice assortment. It's great for a shower gift! Some toys are in packages besides the box, and some are just loosely in the box. I wish someone would've gotten me this for my kids when they were infants since we seemed to leave toys everywhere we went and there's plenty in the box! |

"Good set, but too many similar toys for infants..." | 2007-11-06 |

| Seems like all the toys are so similar - my children didn't really seem to get much out of them - kind a "seen one, seen 'em all" situation. The keys that came in our set were nice as wase the jingle ball. The teething toys were ok, but basic teethers are simpler and seem to fit in our kids mouths better. It costs quite a bit and gives you lots of quantity - but not sure if infants really care all that much. Investing in a few (different) sensory toys seemed to work better for us... |

"Love the toys, but not what I ordered!" | 2007-09-06 |

| Ok, so I had some issues with this set of toys. The first set of toys that I received in the mail didn't even have all the toys in it. There were only 11 of the 14 toys in the box. The big problem I had though was that the box of toys is not what is shown in the picture. Once Amazon sent me a new box with all the items, I still didn't get what I ordered. One of the most notable items that was different were the links. The box I got had number links, 0-9, intstead of the ABC links. Out of the 14 toys that were supposed to come in the box, only 3 were the toys shown on the webpage, the fish, a rattle, and the toy with polka dot balls on the ends. Although I am happy with the toys that I got, there were some toys that I thought that I was going to receive that I really wanted. I'm happy with them overall, since they price-matched themselves since it went from $29.99 to $14.99. |

| Instead of buying these items sperately over time, save yourself the money and buy this box (or add it to your baby shower gift list). I purchased these for my son when he was a few months old, he is now 10 months old and he is still enjoying them. They are bright, attractive and easy to play with. They are small enough to throw a couple into a nappy bag (sorry, diaper bag) without creating bulk. They are really handy for distracting your little one whilst you are on the go (in the car, shopping, etc.)and some are even bath friendly. |

"Love the alphabet rings!" | 2006-06-25 |

| I don't have this whole set - I only have a pack with the alphabet letters - but I just want to say that we love them! My 6 week old is finally able to start holding onto toys and these alphabet rings are the best! He can't pick them up himself yet but we put them in his hand and he will hang onto them, wave them around, suck on them, and throw them. It is adorable! They are also letters of the alphabet so we spell out words for him and show him all the letters, so these are educational, too! You can also hook them onto anything - his gymini, carseat, etc. These are the best! :) |

| Our son is now developmentally 5 months (a preemie 5 months past original due date) and he loves the toys in this assortment. One is a pig that races across the living room--he hugs it when it gets to him. He loves the "hand toys" (plastic thingies like fake key rings)--we put a few in the stroller. He plays with them, fascinated, then hurles them...hence, the helpfullness of more than one toy to keep in a little basket nearby for when he needs a new one. The teethers are cute, but he likes another Sassy item called the tail fish teether that we bought separately. Last note: I also gave the First Toys as a shower gift to someone else; it was a big hit. |

"Fun toys, not as advertised" | 2006-03-27 |

I would call this box of toys mediocre here's the good and the bad.
Good: 1. My son's favorite toys came from this box. Even now at 7 months, he loves the teething bird, the rattle and the pig that came instead of the ducky. 2. Thank goodness for the letters! Not only were they fun-textured, but we used them to hang the toys on his play gym lower. 3. Several of the toys have been pretty well abused and show no signs of wear. 4.It's a nice variety of easy-to-throw-in-the-diaper-bag toys - small enough he can carry them with him into the carseat.
Bad: 1. Definitely did not get all the toys in the picture, no ducks, no octopus, and didn't get the thing in the picture with what looks like 3 stuffed cubes. We did get a stuffed pig on wheels that is not in the picture, and one rattle instead of one of the ones in the picture, but it's definitely less overall. 2. The letters came in handy, but really aren't fun toys.
It's probably not worth $39.99 - I got it as a gift and would say it's worth $19.99 - so maybe pick it up if you can find in on sale.
