These are GREAT, keep little arms and bodies clean, and are washable!
Though the neck is wide, my wife puts another bib over it, just to close up the neck area.
But she LOVES these!

This is a great bib. With a messy 8 month old learning to self feed it's a life saver and clothes saver! The pocket catches so much too. Highly recommended.

this is a necessity for any parent who's child i learning to it by herself/himself. Lets face, regular bibs are just too small and the child will dirty sleeves and drop food in the lap.
the only problem is that the neck opening is too big so food dropping from the chin, can still mess up the neckline of the outfit underneath.
However, I am not sure if I received the wrong size. I had trouble receiving this item -it got lost and was reordered by amazon, so they could have ordered the wrong size. But nevermind, with a smaller bib underneeath nothing gets through. The manufacturer's age says 12-24 mos, but the ones I received (look just like the ones in the picture) say 2-4 years. |

I only use these types of bibs and have tried various brands. There are not many that I could find on the market so I found selection limited. These are good because:
1) Yes, the bibs are thin and are not 100% waterproof. However, this means after feeding you can rinse the whole thing in the sink, tie it onto the fridge or stove handle, and it is dry by the next meal. It also means that they are not too hot in the summer.
2) Yes, this is a tie closure and not velcro. Thank goodness. My babe loves to undo velcro.
3) Yes, the neck hole is large. My solution is that I put a soft cotton bib underneath the long sleeved one. As she went from pureed to chunky food, the under bib rarely gets stained so I just use it over and over again.
4) Note the pattern they shipped me was different than the ones in the picture. One was pink poodles and the other one was blue beach umbrella. Didn't really care.
So 4 stars for the false advertising, the difference in pattern, and the too large neck hole. I still love them though! |

| Good coverage to protect long sleeves, but the tie back slips right out and leaves the collar/neck area open. Need to double knot or secure in some other way. I wouldn't buy them again, but don't feel like paying postage to send them back. |
