| My 13 month old granddaughter kept getting her legs stuck between her crib rails. I called the crib company and they recommended a breathable crib bumper. I talked to my daughter about it. Our only concern with the crib bumper was that my granddaughter loves to climb and we were afraid she'd use the bumper as a step to give her a boost out of her crib. So I searched around a little and found this item. It is wonderful! It definitely prevents her legs from being stuck and there's no way she will be able to climb out of her crib. I read a couple of reviews and was hesitant because of the quality, but I'm glad I took the chance. It's as well made as you can expect anything made of mesh to be. Even if it would have to be replaced a couple of times a year (and I'm not saying that it will), it's worth it to me and her parents. We don't worry nearly as much when we put her down for a nap or for the night. |

| I purchased this to keep the cats out of my baby's crib. After a month of so, I realized they weren't interested and took it off. When my baby started getting her arms and legs caught in the crib bars, I thought of this and put it back on. It worked like a charm. At that point, I didn't bother zipping it up. When she started trying to climb out, I started zipping it up. She is 25 months old now and it's still going strong. I haven't had any tears or stitching come undone. The pull loop on the zipper can be wrapped around the end of one of the poles so that little fingers can't unzip the tent from the inside. I'm hoping to transition her to a bed soon but if it doesn't go well, I know the crib tent will keep her in her crib and safe during the night. |

| Yeah, this thing frayed after a year of use, and it's not easy to install, but the one-star reviewers are obviously a bunch of subliterate morons. It's kept our wandering toddler in his crib, and he's quite happy under it. Reading the one-star reviews make me think that the internet has "empowered" a bunch of dumb malcontents who should have their mouths taped shut. |

| The first tent we bought had a bad zipper and we had to return it. The second one we got tore at the seams within ONE month. Infants are going to push and pull on it and it is too poorly made to stand up to the playing. I have had to sew it back together over 5 times already. Think twice before you buy it. Even if you try to return it to the company they will charge you $15.00 plus shipping for a restocking fee. Poorly made and bad company. You would think for the price that they would put a little more thought into it. |

"Not the best quality product" | 2008-07-03 |

We ordered this product after our 19 month old daughter attempted to climb out of her crib. She had no problems adjusting to the tent and actually thought it was really fun when we initially installed it. Here are the problems: the zipper on the tent is really loud and is very long (the length of the crib), so if you place a sleepy child into the crib, you either need to keep it unzipped (which defeats the purpose of the tent) OR zip it and risk waking the child with the loud zipping noise. Our daughter has been awakened on numerous occasions because of the noise. Another negative is that our daughter was able to make a hole in the mesh within the first two weeks we owned the product. This really disappointed us since we were planning on using this product for at least another 6 months to a year. We are going to try to patch it with a piece of fabric, but since it is a net, we are unsure how well that will work. The last major problem we have with this crib is the difficulty in changing the bed linens. My wife is not tall and already has difficulty reaching into the crib, so the tent does not lend itself to making this job any easier for her. Otherwise, this product has done its job in keeping our daughter safely in the crib at night and during naps. We would highly recommend it if the material was more durable and the tent was easier to remove. |

| We had been struggling with our daughter's sleep schedule for about 1 year....yes, 1 year!! She never was a great sleeper and rarely slept thru the night. She climbed out of her crib when she turned 2 and we turned her crib into a toddler bed. After that things got worse and we ended up sleeping on a mattress next to her toddler bed to keep her in it. It was ridiculous! We saw the crib tent on Amazon and decided to give it a try. I was skeptical and didn't initially want to spend the money, but it was worth ever penny and then some!! We turned her toddler bed back into a crib and told her how exciting it would be to sleep in her new tent. She did cry for about 20 minutes the first night, but by the second night she only cried about 5 minutes and after that went to bed without any crying. She is safe and can't jump out and our sleep is much better too! She likes to bring a few books and dolls into the tent with her at night. I highly recommend it for anyone with an active baby/toddler who tries to climb out of the crib or doesn't sleep well thru the night. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it is starting to pull apart at one of the seams...not enough that I have to worry about it ripping at this point. My daughter is tall and jumps in it all the time and it has stood up to that so far. I only wish I had bought it sooner! |

It only takes that one first ominous THUMP from the nursery to convince you you really should have bought this sooner! Luckily, my daughter was all right, but I immediately ordered this. I had had one years ago with my son, but it had worn out and gotten chucked-- and there's the problem: while this product is indispensible and a godsend, it won't last you terribly long before the seams give way. We started using it when my daughter was about 18 months; we've gotten 14 months out of it but it's falling to bits (big gaping holes at the seams) and it's time for us to order another one. (She won't use it much longer, but the consolation is that we'll get a little more use out of it for the baby we're expecting soon.) I agree with earlier comments that this company should make it more durable; I don't think they've had the proper "motivation" since they're the only ones making this type of product (competition can be a marvelous thing sometimes). Still, for the price, it's a bargain. I would *much* rather pay for a couple of these over time than deal with the guilt of my child seriously injuring themselves from a fall onto hardwood floors. DEFINITELY buy it... but plan on replacing it at intervals.
Many of my friends hadn't seen this idea before and at first thought it was barbaric to keep a child "under a lid"-- but when I explained it to them they thought it was brilliant. And my daughter *loves* it. We've always called it her "little house" and she just loves the idea of her own little space in there and getting zipped in at night. She'll miss it soon when she moves to a real bed! |
