| I know this product was shipped to me but because UPS did not read the messages I left with directions of where to deliver the product. UPS shipped it back to the owner. The item was shipped right out to me by the buyer so I feel like they did everything right. Also Amazon has bad customer service. |

Got this at work because I LOATHE the dinky Apple keyboard with its spongy keys and one-button crappy mouse. Bad enough that it's a #@!*ing Mac, but the keyboard and mouse were driving me nuts.
So went over to the nearest Wallyworld, and got this for a cool thirty bucks plus tax. Works wonderfully, as I'd expect from any Logitech product. Sure it's not an aesthetic masterpiece exactly, and the keys do squeak sometimes, but hey anything is better than that Apple junk.
btw, even though on the box it said "Mac compatible," the software on the CD does *not* fully work with the Mac. Not that I really care much about having programmable hotkeys or not, anyhow.

I purchased this keyboard/mouse set because of a recent upgrade to a large HD monitor. Now with the large screen I can work on the computer and at a distance. However, with a wired keyboard and mouse I was limited. This wireless combo is amazing. I can easily sit 10 feet away and still have full control. I haven't tried to see exactly how far away I can get.
The mouse is solid and the movements seem to be very accurate. I haven't played any games so I can't say if it would be good as a gamer's mouse. But I don't see any reason why it would not. |

The keyboard's great, and its battery lasts nearly forever.
The mouse is big and uncomfortable in my hand [a normal-sized woman's hand, not small, not large] and uses AA batteries at a fearful rate. It's so annoying in every respect that I'm buying another mouse. |

And i dont know what all the battery problems are. Only thing I can think of is, IF the mouse gets tipped over or left in any other position other than the proper position, the optics stay on causing bat to die. other than that my batteries last 6 months with every day use. And the durability is good in my opinion my baby girl throws the mouse across the room daily and stomps on the keyboard and drops it. also pro, mouse is not very surface picky. And all this bullcrap about laser mice is skeptical I HAVE LASER MICE AND THIS BEATER WORKS JUST AS GOOD.
note: this model number is actually the 210. Strange. |

I've owned this keyboard and mouse for a while now, and while the functioning has been wonderful I've had issues with the mouse battery life and the keyboard letters.
I use my computer keyboard a lot and while my previous keyboard became nonoperational before the letters wore off, the letters on this one wore off within a week. I don't really need to look at the letters to know what button to press but one would think that they would give them a bit more, for lack of a better term, staying power.
Obviously, this has no bearing on the function of the keyboard, which has been excellent. In the months that I've had it I've had to change the batteries once. It's very comfortable to type with as opposed to many of the other keyboards I've used and its really convenient not having so many wires tangling everywhere.
The mouse however is a different story. Due it to being a lazer type mouse the battery life is absolutely horrible. I would say within the first month of using it I've gone through 8-10 batteries. So instead of spending so much on batteries I went the rechargeable battery route. Buy two sets of batteries and a charger and you are all set. The mouse is slightly uncomfortable and if you want fast point and click games or need to hold down the mouse buttons for long periods of time then I suggest you go a more expensive route.
Overall: Overall since I mainly just surf the net and type, this set has exactly what I need.
