This is my first experience using a digital, take-it-with-you device, and it has been great! It works perfectly, all the help to figure it out is easily accessible on i-tunes, and I got a great deal with a re-conditioned I-pod Mini. It helps to read the manual(on-line), it saves a lot of time (she said, after wasting much time playing with the buttons)

My boyfriend bought one from his friend and its in perfect condition and I cherish it because he gave it to me as a gift because I dislike the slim iPods. But my mother loved my iPod Mini so much she wanted to buy one. So I got onto Amazon and decided to get her one. When it came, it was broken. Not from the shipment but from wear and tear. The seller stated before the sale that it was in GOOD condition.. but the click wheel was really slow and only moved half the time when I went to use it. The hold button was stuck and took excessive force to Lock and Unlock it. The top left corner was completely dented in and the white cap was coming out on the top. When I shook the product I could hear things moving inside. But the screen was fine and it plays music. But its hard to play the song you want when the scrolling option is broken on the iPod. I tried contacting the seller but they didn't respond TWICE so I did a reverse look-up from the address on my envelope I received the product in and found no one by that address because the name wasn't full. A woman in the seller's alleged hometown was willing to track down this person but we could't come to a conclusion so I got Amazon involved. And my mother is FINALLy (after a MONTH) getting her money back.
Don't be deterred by this review. Its an amazing product! Just look for a buyer with alot of positive feedback and comments and reviews.
To see the video I made of the product I received go to YouTube dot com and search "alysssalyn ipod" Should be two pink ipods in the preview picture. Thank you!

She got a pink iPod Mini off her boyfriends friend for SO CHEAP and showed me how to use it and I fell completely and madly in-love with it. Its way easier to use than any mp3 player NOT made by Apple. I can't figure out how to use all this new crap. But iPods are so easy I had to order one. I ordered one off a buyer that I didn't look at their rating or return policy and ended up getting a dud. But Amazon returned my money and I'm still sitting here not knowing what to do with this broken pile of poo. Oh well. Its a great product, and maybe when I re-purchase one I will check to make sure the seller has a great rating and better return policy. I'm not dissatisfied with the iPod brand itself just the one I got. Be careful.
I like that its fatter then the newer ones. I feel like I could snap them like a twig and thats 200$ down the drain I've spent on too many GB's I don't need. My daughter is a teenager (somewhat... haha *cough* 20 *cough*) and wont buy a new iPod. She's always wanted the NEW or the SHINY or the BEST out there in crap I've had to buy her whole life but I never got her an iPod. She refuses to get a new one. She's even stated she's goin to get a job (big step for her... haha) and buy one brand new in the box if she can find anyone selling a Mini. But for now she's completely and utterly in-love with this used and dented and sad looking Mini. She cried when she spilt water in her purse and it was completely drenched. I just put it in a bag of rice along with her cell phone that cost 150, her boyfriends camera (because she broke her new one and wanted to "borrow" his), and her Nintendo DS (I know.. why do teens keep their LIVES in their purses? ALONG WITH LIQUIDS). And the next day they were all working perfectly!!
All in all.. its a very durable piece of metal and plastic.

Compared to more modern versions, this iPod is a bit on the chunky side and its screen display is telling of its age. Navigation through menus takes a little bit of getting used to thanks to the rotational wheel, and is tedious if you have a massive amount of songs and want to listen to one that starts with a letter further down the alphabet. Other than that it's a solid mp3 player that gets the job done.

When I ordered this iPod I just wanted a pink iPod. When it came it didn't work, there was something wrong with it. I guess my review is more a review of the seller, The Great iPod Exchange. This company is wonderful to work with. They tried to help me fix the problems but once it looked like it was not fixable, they refunded all of my money, no arguments! This seller was very responsive to my needs as a buyer and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.
