5 Star Rating  "Short, but fun!"2008-08-11

This game is excellent! I have a couple problems with it, but I give it five stars because, at least in my opinion, the good outweighs the bad. The only things I have a problem with are:
1. Where are Yoda and Darth Sidious?
2. Why are there no space battles?

Now, even though I have those problems with the game, here are the reasons I love it:
1. You play through the movie, but if you want to go outside that there are five bonus levels that have some scenes not seen in the movie. (Except for the Darth Vader vs. Obi-Wan Kenobi level on the Death Star, which was seen in A New Hope).
2. There are two Mustafar battle levels: one where you are Anakin fighting Obi-Wan, and one where you are Obi-Wan fighting Anakin. If you defeat Obi-Wan, which was not in the movie, there is a great alternate ending!
3. Duel Mode! You can choose from a group of characters and battle anyone you want! You can be Mace Windu battling General Grievous or Count Dooku battling Darth Vader, and many more. Sadly, you can't pick Yoda or Darth Sidious. Still, it is pretty cool!

Overall, I recommend this game. It is difficult at some parts and fairly challenging. It is pretty short, but they really did a great job with it overall. Five stars!

5 Star Rating  "A bit repetitive for some, but..."2008-07-14

it's just right for me. I like the simplicity of just lightsabering the hell out of droids, Sith, Jedi, etc., using "The Force" (force push, force grasp, force throw, and later, force lightning), and getting to play the movie. Despite what one reviewer mentioned, the fighting styles of the characters in multiplayer are not identical. Maybe you just need to have a subtle eye.

What more would you expect from a game adapted from a movie? Even if it's not great, it's nowhere near as bad as old ljn titles. Go play Friday the 13th on NES to see what I'm talking about.

I am not a big fan of any game that comes out of Lucas Arts, but when I saw this game reviewed on G4 and then looked at the walkthrough I just had to have it! I love the constant saber battles and just being a jedi knight good and bad all through the game. The people at Lucas Arts should be very proud of themselves. When they made this game, gamers became jedi!

Sorry about the name, it's not my account :) .I found thie game to be kind of repetitive. There are lots of combos and moves that you probably won't memorize. When you get to fight as Anakin aka Lord/Darth Vader. Graphics are solid, framerate on par. Overall, this is a game you should buy first-off. I now know wht it's a "Greatest Hits" game.

3 Star Rating  "Pretty Fun"2007-06-25

I got this game when it first came out and was playing it before I saw the movie. After playing the game awhile, I finally went and saw the movie. Of course, there is no compairison between the two. The movie is usually always better than the game anyhow so I wasn't dissapointed. Anyway, the graphics in the game were not all that good, and the voice work was terrible. They could have used the actually actors voices in the game. They did however put little clips from the movie in the game which I thought was a neat idea. You can learn some really awesome moves and get the cheats that will unlock all the moves and even some really bizaar light sabers.

However, the game is really short. Only 17 chapters I believe. But, it's still fun to play and try and become a Jedi Master.

You can be Obi-Wan or Anikan! It is so fun! On 2 player you can choose from Anikan, Obi-Wan, Count Dooko, Mace Windu, a girl jedi, a boy jedi, General Grevious, Ben Kenobi, and Darth Vader! After you each pick someone you dual
eachother! This game truely rocks!

Great game. This game is a cross between "Star Wars Jedi Power Battles" and "The Lord of the Rings: Two Towers". This is the only way I can really describe the game. I like the fact that you actually play the missions the went on in the game. I agree with another reviewer, they should go back to the original movies and do the same. They should do the same concept with "A New Hope", "Empire Strikes Back", "Return of the Jedi", "Phantom Menace", and "Attack of the Clones". I know the "Attack of the Clones" dealt with the battles in the movie, but I'm talking saber action, not so much vehicles.

So, this game in itself is a really neat concept. HINT: If you really want to get high skill levels, try NOT to block and defend so much. Rely on your fighting skills and this will increase your status. I found this out way to long and late in the game!! I read the manual closley and found that this was a better way to increase your skills!!!

That's it. Enjoy!!!

Remember when I said that this game was a piece of crap? Well everything is back to normal. We just got a newer copy of the game. If you belived in my other review (Buyers Beware), go sit in a corner for 5 minutes. If you didn't, pat yourself on the back. (This review is dedicated to George Lucas. No hard fielings.)
