This mirror seems to be top heavy and when hooked around your neck it is not stable and leans over so that you are not able to look into the mirror. This mirror must be held in order to use it which means is it not hands free. I am returning the mirror.

I received the mirror and it was great out of the box. As I tried to hang it on my neck and place it at my face but the hinge holding it vertically didn't hold. I looked for a tightening bolt or something like that and it didn't have one. I managed to use it, but wasn't trully a hands-free mirror. I had to fuss with it so it would stay in place. After a week, as I adjusted the mirror, the mirror came out of its pole and it fell apart- it was irrepairable. The vendor was great about replacing it or returning my money. I took the money.

This is a great mirror for putting on makeup and styling hair. I've used one for years and this was a replacement. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny for the use I get from it.

The around the neck feature came apart as soon as I took it out of the box. It was put together very poorly.
