I've been a Rowenta iron user for many years, but decided to try the Black and Decker D2030 after reading so many positive reviews on Amazon. I'm sure glad I did! This iron is better in every way: it's cheaper, holds much more water, emits more steam, has a longer cord and is easier to use (simple controls). Heeding the warnings of other D2030 owners, I have been very careful about opening the water reservoir and have not had a problem. I highly recommend this iron based on my three months of use.

Since I do a lot of sewing and use large pieces of fabric, I must have a good iron. I have always bought Rowenta irons and have loved them while they work. After awhile, they began to leak from the heel plate when it the upright position. I did a lot of research and read many reviews, and decided on the Black and Decker D2030 Digital Advantage Iron. I have not been dissapointed. The cost was much less that the Rowenta, but still produced plenty of steam for my projects. I would hightly recommend this iron for its price and performance.

This is the best steam iron I have ever owned and that is saying something. I am 79 years old and have been using steam irons since thir invention. They all had to be emptied after using or had to use special water or spit nasty brown mist over my clothes. This one steams....and I mean really steams. I iron pillow cases easily without predampening. Thank you, Black & Decker, for another good product.
