OK, I admit it. I was skeptical at best before I tried this product. I ordered it thinking that I had just wasted 15 bucks. However I was desperate. My brand new car had gotten pummeled by my neighbors sprinklers. After a deluxe 30 dollar car wash I realized that nothing was going take the water stains out. I tried pretty much every product on the market to get these spots out with no avail. I even tried windex, ketchup, and coca cola. I was left with nothing but a sticky smelly car and a bee sting. The body shop told me that they would have to replace two windows, a side mirror, a windshield and also repaint the car to the tune of almost 2 grand. Apparently the sun had "etched the water stains into my car." Out of desperation I ordered this product. When I got it in the mail I thought that I had been ripped off Angrily I tried it out. IT WORKED! The first application took most of the water spots off however it did take between 2-3 applications to get everything off entirely. I also had to scrub very hard. However I think the 15 bucks and a lot of elbow grease is better than 2 grand and a week without a car!
You will not be disappointed!! |

This is the only product that I have tried that works in removing hard water spots (from lawn sprinklers)on windows. I could barely see out of my car window and nothing I tried would take those spots off. Only this, Spot-X. I was very happy when I discovered it.

All I can say is that this stuff works.. and works great. I bought my car from a seller in L.A. California (I live in North Carolina). It was in great shape except for hard water spots all over the windows (I assume from acid rain or something). The windows almost felt pitted, and I thought all I could do to fix them was to replace them. I bought Spot-X after reading all the praise that it got from Amazon. They were right, it works wonderfully!! No more spots, the windows are crystal clear, and feel like they've been waxed. Spot-X is well worth the money.

I used this product on my '08 Honda Fit windows to clean off mineral deposits received from the lawn sprinklers. This stuff works! I spent over $50+ on liquid and foam cleaners to no avail and finally decided to get this. The mineral deposits had been on the windows for more than two months but sure enough I followed the directions on the bottle and instantly the deposits were gone. I didn't have to use too much elbow grease. I'm a believer now! It's a shame this product didn't work for some people because it worked for me.

I'm out in Hawaii and I guess maybe the salt does it but I have pretty bad deposits on my windows and mirrors. First tried it on the mirror that had the worst deposits. After scrubbing for about half a minute, i rinsed it away and all the deposits were gone. I still have some on the very outside of the mirror where I didn't scrub much but i'll just get those later. Works great so far, gonna try it on the windows next.

This product did succeed in cleaning hard water spots off the windshield of my old BMW, but as another reviewer stated, it DID leave scratches. I used their "non-scratch" pad, followed the directions, etc., but it did leave minute "spider-web" scratches, most visible when the sun is directly shining through the windshield. Granted, my car has 165,000 miles on it, and the windshield already has numerous small rock chips in it, so in my case, the scratches are better than the water stains, but if I tried this product on a newer car and it did this (although the product claims it is safe on windshields), I would be very angry indeed.

I was skeptical at first before buying this product for $13... but, after trying EVERYTHING to clean our glass shower door, I decided to give this stuff a try. Come to think of it, I probably spent WAY over $13 buying products like Kaboom, CLR, household vinegar, etc, etc, to clean the shower doors.. so, anyway, this stuff really works... I usually don't take the time to write reviews like this, but, I feel like I had to for all ya'll people out there who have hard water stains on your glass shower doors. It was so EASY to use, and it was like a miracle watching my glass go from DINGY water spotted ugly glass, to sparkling clear glass. I could not believe it. Give it a try - it really works.
