"Great game, but controller broke after a month" | 2008-01-17 |

| Our family loved playing this game and played daily after Christmas. However, the joy stick broke before it was a month old. Still, for the price it is a great deal. The games are fun and challenging for the young kids and the adults. We are already considering buying a second one. |

"Hours of Fun" | 2007-03-07 |

| This game offers several games combined into one handheld console. It runs on 4AA Batteries, which last 30+ hours of play time. This is a great way to occupy the kids on long car trips if you can hook in to the "in car" DVD or video player Don't expect the quality of a $100 X Box controller. But for the kids it's great. Warning! Do not start playing this game if you are an adult. It will suck hours out of your life in a flash. I have purchased 3 of these games so far because we have worn the buttons out. I wish I could pay more for a better quality controller, but heck it's a $20 kid's toy. The fact that I would keep buying the game after we wear it out should tell you that it's fun. |

"where is the GameKey?" | 2006-12-26 |

| How come they never came out with the GameKey for this? (GameKey is a cartridge that adds 2 more games)? I have noticed other Jakks plug and play games have slots for GameKey, but I have never seen them in stores. Did Jakks Give up on the GameKey idea? |

| This game is great! I'm not much of a starwars fan but I enjoy this game! If you feel 5 games isn't enough, they have come out with a Yoda version that comes bundled with a game key (cartrige)! The only drawback to that is Yoda's ugly face on the controller! |

"Great Game But Not Durable" | 2005-10-03 |

| I purchased this plug-n-play game at a local Wal-Mart for my 7 year-old. I brought it home and tried playing it but it did not work properly. (Got sound but no video). I returned it back to the store for a second one and it worked fine . . .for about 6 months. Then I noticed that the sound would start going out intermittently -because the cord/wire guage used was so thin w/poor strain relief that wire inside was actually bending/breaking after many times of being plugged in & put away. (My son would unplug & wrap it up (loosely) to put away each time.) I would recommend this game is JAKKS would re-do their cable/wires to be more durable. |

| This game is so much fun!!! I do think that maybe it could use a few more games or maybe make different difficulty levels. In other words... If you are a huge Star Wars fan like me, then you will love this game!!! It will keep you occupied for at least an hour a day if you are determined to beat a certain level. Another thing I think it could use is maybe a game-save function or something... Anyway, GREAT GAMING EXPERIENCE!!! One and a half thumbs up!!! |

""Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope."" | 2005-06-22 |

Just finished watching "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" and you're looking for some way to prolong the Star Wars magic? Say no more. JAKKS Pacific's Star Wars Episode III Plug & Play TV Games is here to keep your Star Wars buzz going. And the best part is you do not need a high midi-chlorian count to revisit that galaxy far, far away. All you need is four AA batteries, a TV set to plug the game unit into, and as much playing time as you can set aside.
The game unit allows you to choose between five different games. In DROID INVASION, you are Obi-Wan Kenobi and you must fend off armies of battle droids with the help of your trusty lightsaber. You travel from Naboo to Geonosis to Mustafar to prevent Battle Droids, Super Battle Droids, and Destroyer Droids from overrunning each planet. Knock off certain Battle Droids and gain extra lives, a protective shield, a double-bladed lightsaber, or the ability to use a Force push on advancing droids.
In CORUSCANT ATTACK, you are Obi-Wan Kenobi once more and you must destroy Separatist fighters, cruisers, and battleships in your Jedi Starfighter. Prove yourself to be an excellent pilot and gain extra lives, the opportunity to upgrade your blasters, the ability to slow down the speed of the game, or the aid of Anakin Skywalker in his own Jedi Starfighter. Just be extra careful when dealing with those Buzz Droids. Those dudes are nasty.
In GRIEVOUS ONSLAGHT, you are Anakin Skywalker and you must slice your way through Super Battle Droids and Destroyer Droids on General Grievous' flagship in order to rescue the abducted Chancellor Palpatine. Strike down the specially-colored Super Battle Droids and gain a protective shield, the ability to Force push away advancing enemies, or the ability to freeze the Battle Droids in their tracks. Be patient when fighting off the Bodyguard Droids and be alert on the higher levels for that is when General Grievous joins the fight.
In GUNSHIP BATTLE, you are a Clone Pilot piloting a Republic Gunship and you must protect and transport your fellow Clone Troopers while avoiding enemy ships and ground cannons. Help your troops take control of fuel depots, gun turrets, and the Separatist base. Get four Clone Troopers into the enemy base and the day is won.
In UTAPAU CHASE, you are Obi-Wan Kenobi riding atop the loyal Boga. You must navigate your way past gun turrets and avoid enemy speeders intent on stopping you from catching up to General Grievous in his Wheel Bike. While making your way across Utapau, you have the opportunity to pick up extra lives, blaster upgrades, and armor for Boga. Remember to use Boga's tail in addition to your blasters. They cause a whole lot of damage when making contact with gun turrets and enemy speeders.
Of the five games, CORUSCANT ATTACK is the most addictive while DROID INVASION and GRIEVOUS ONSLAUGHT are great too. GUNSHIP BATTLE is a little disappointing and gets tiresome very quickly. UTAPAU ATTACK is the weakest of the five games. Half the time you are not even sure what is going on while playing it and Boga perishes very easily.
These games are not as elaborate as those Star Wars games designed for computers and game platforms but it does the job if you keep your expectations in check. The unit itself is not bulky and is comfortable to hold. There is a navigation control pad to the left and pair of buttons to the right. Both the pad and buttons are easy to handle and are not awkwardly placed. Two notable aspects of this TV plug-in game unit compared to previously-released units is that it stores your high scores after you shut it down and it allows you to pause the game while playing.
Any negatives? Well, the range of sound effects is limited and unfortunately, there is no Star Wars music playing in the background while you are trying to save the galaxy. In addition, there are no detailed instructions to the various games so many of the gameplay aspects have to be learned from playing the games over and over. Finally, you are out of luck if you want to play as the Dark Side. You are always battling the Separatist Forces as a Jedi.
Now go forth young Padawan and purchase this unit. As Anakin Skywalker said at the beginning of Episode III - "this is where the fun begins." |

"This game is so good that it's sick!" | 2005-06-07 |

| This Star Wars game is the best plug and play game of its kind. You get to choose amongst five games. Included are two Jedi themed games, two starfighter themed games, and one in which you ride a Boga across the planet of Utapau. My personal favorites were the Coruscant Attack and the Utapau Chase. In the CA, I am Obi-Wan in a Jedi starfighter as I shoot down droid ships while trying to bring down battleships. Once you learn how to control the ship, it is all down-hill from there. In the UC, I am again Obi Wan as I ride a Boga shooting down or slamming enemy Bogas into the wall. The final showdown involves a duel with General Grievous' speeder. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a good video game. |
