"Two versions of Jakks Star Wars Plug&Play game?"

I am a little confused after reading some of the reviews here, so I thought I'd share my experience. FYI, there is (or was, at least) another Jakks Star Wars Plug-n-Play, which was shaped sort of like a Playstation controller but it was designed to look like Darth Vader's mask (which I thought was way cool, BTW.) Anyway, I know that Amazon sometimes lumps reviews together, and reading over these it looks like they've done that here because some mention the controller looking like Vader, while the photo shows the one shaped like the Millenium Falcon. We have BOTH the Vader one and the Millenium Falcon one (purchased a year or two ago at local -mart stores for about 20-bucks each.) The Vader one does have different games than the Millenium Falcon one, though -- or at least ours did (another review here seemed like the Vader one had the same games as the Falcon one...???) On our Vader game (which is dated 2005 on the back) it has the games described in other reviews here: Droid Invasion, Coruscant Attack, Grievous Onslaught, Gunship Battle, and Utapau Chase. Our Millenium Falcon game (dated 2006 on the back) has only four games instead of five, and they are different -- they are: Lightsaber Duel, Battle of Endor, Assault on Hoth, and Red Leader.
So basically I'm not sure what this means you'll be getting from Amazon -- they picture the Millenium Falcon game but the written description says five games (not the four ours has) and also describes the five games that (in our experience) are on the Vader game. Maybe Jakks just switched controllers recently and put the five games on the Falcon instead? (Hey, maybe I have a really rare and valuable Falcon game with four games that aren't made anymore!)
At any rate, both games (Falcon and Vader) are fantastic and my 7-year-old son loves them, and I have to admit I play it some, too. (I rock at Grievous Onslaught *she said modestly*) We have found both to be very durable and have had no problems with loose/broken wires or broken joysticks, despite many hours of hard play. They're excellent fun games at a great price so you don't have the huge expense of a Playstation or whatever. One advantage the Vader one has over the Falcon one -- the red light that signals when it is turned on is located on the top of the Vader mask and is very easy to see, so you aren't likely to leave it on by mistake and run the batteries down. The "on" light on the Millenium Falcon is located on its edge, and we have mistakenly left it on many times and thus go through more batteries with it.
These games have been out for awhile and perhaps are not being made anymore (?) or are in limited supply or something which may be why they are priced so high, but do shop around because you may find them in a -mart store for somewhere in the 20-buck range. (I see Target has it offered via Amazon for nineteen-something...)
Our family loved playing this game and played daily after Christmas. However, the joy stick broke before it was a month old. Still, for the price it is a great deal. The games are fun and challenging for the young kids and the adults. We are already considering buying a second one.
"Hours of Fun"

This game offers several games combined into one handheld console. It runs on 4AA Batteries, which last 30+ hours of play time. This is a great way to occupy the kids on long car trips if you can hook in to the "in car" DVD or video player Don't expect the quality of a $100 X Box controller. But for the kids it's great. Warning! Do not start playing this game if you are an adult. It will suck hours out of your life in a flash. I have purchased 3 of these games so far because we have worn the buttons out. I wish I could pay more for a better quality controller, but heck it's a $20 kid's toy. The fact that I would keep buying the game after we wear it out should tell you that it's fun.
How come they never came out with the GameKey for this? (GameKey is a cartridge that adds 2 more games)? I have noticed other Jakks plug and play games have slots for GameKey, but I have never seen them in stores. Did Jakks Give up on the GameKey idea?
This unit is a must for Star Wars fans. The games are not only fun, but challenging as well. My kids love it, too. Why didn't they make a unit like this for the other episodes. One can only hope!!! Buy it NOW!
