"Great Poker Set!" | |

| My husband and I bought this poker set for our cousin for the holidays. It was an instant hit. The chips and cards are of good quality, and the felt playing surface included with the set is one of the best features, as it makes the playing experience seem more professional and fun. Really great gift for both males and females, as long as they are interested in poker. Also, it's great to bring to a family get together, as the tin box is not too bulky or heavy like the aluminum-cased sets are. Highly recommended! |

| I have purchased 5 of these! The sets are so nice. The chips are heavy and feel and look authentic to casino chips. I can not believe how cheap they are selling this. Worth more! |

"The Cautious First Step"

| As an Australian buyer, the shipping costs and exchange rate make the failings of this set a little more obvious. Many criticisms are identified in other reviews. The plain green felt would have been SO much better with some markings - and the storage tin requires it to be folded, creasing the felt into little hills. The cards are adequate but don't feel durable. The 50 chips feel great, but equal numbers of colors make it hard to set different values. I'm concerned about reports of differing chip thicknesses between sets, as I really need some more for a 4 person game. |

"Variable Quality a Big Problem"

| I have purchased four of these sets, in order to have enough chips for a large tournament. I discarded the felt and cheap cards. Three of the sets had nice, clean, sharply printed, and brightly colored chips. The fourth set had chips that were a dull "smeared" appearing surface. Not that big an issue, until I realized that the chips were just enought different in thickness that they did not stack evenly. A stack of 20 of the dull chips is one chip taller then a stack of the "clean" chips!! This is a potential disaster, requiring manual counting of every single chip!! I hope to exchange the bad set. If you're only buying one set, there's no problem with these hefty low cost chips. If you're buying more than one, I would make sure you could exchange them if they don't match. |
