| This model Bluetooth was the first model I ever owned...that was 3 years ago. I loved it then, and I love it now. My primary reason for purchasing it is because I really do not like the majority of current Bluetooth devices, which all have a piece which is supposed to fit inside the ear. Just before purchasing this model, I attempted to buy one of these other Bluetooth devices, but it was very uncomfortable and did not fit my ear properly. This current model works great with my new Blackberry, fits my ear, is very comfortable, and has great volume and reception. I'm very pleased with it, and I would definitely purchase it again:) |

"It could be great" | 2009-09-23 |

It could be great.
The good:
-It easily turns on and off with the folding mic.
-The audio is really good.
The not so good:
-Wind distortion is pretty bad.
-It swings on my ear. This is due to the mic creating an unfair balance for the hook. If the thing would fit in the ear, it would not swing. If you torque it right, it won't swing too much. The rubber will on the bluetooth will stick then.
I don't consider bonding an issue, but it could be. Hold the button in and immediately flip open the mic just in case. |

"A decent audio bypass for you cell" | 2009-08-31 |

| I got one of these from my dad because I was wanting to try some accessories on my cell phone. (I nearly wasn't able to because he misplaced the power adapter.) When I first tried it out, I was, already, hearing an improvement over my cell phone's audio when I was dialing out. With my cell phone, the first ring is blasting in my ear. Then, it goes super soft. With this, the rings were a lot more equal in sound. When I talk to my girlfriend, the cell phone had lousy audio so I only heard half of what she said. With the blue tooth, I hear everything the first time. The only reason my dad gave this up is because he works in a place where there is a really noisy room and the blue tooth is just inaudible. The only problem I ever had with it (and the only reason I put four stars instead of five) was one time when I was calling my girlfriend. Every time I dialed her number, the blue tooth would cut out like 2 seconds into the call. I called her three times before giving up on the blue tooth and calling her normally. Later on, I tested the blue tooth to see what the problem was. Whatever was wrong with it, the problem seemed to go away. The most I can figure out about what was wrong with it was that it wasn't charged up enough. |

| I love this devise. I only gave four stars because after a few times using it, it became a little loose on the ear. But still love it because of it's clarity and easy use. |

"Great -- for nine months" | 2009-07-20 |

I've had this thing for nine months. During that time, I quite enjoyed it. I particularly liked the flip-mic and the idea of flipping open (rather than hitting a button) to exit stand-by mode.
Sounds quality was good too, with very little annoying echo.
What killed me, though, was the way it started malfunctioning. It didn't just DIE, it started making calls on its own.
I am not making this up. I was driving down the road, phone in the cup holder (so nothing nearby to jostle the buttons) and bluetooth headset in my ear. And I heard a beep and it started ringing. RINGING -- not the little set of tones you get when there's an incoming call, but the ringing you get when you're calling someone. My phone was placing a call to the first person in my address book (also my last number dialed). I stopped the call and it did it again -- four or five times in a row. I finally turned it off. At the time, I didn't know whether the problem was my phone or the headset.
It's the headset. This morning, I flipped open the mic and put the thing on my ear. I heard, "Please say a command; please say a command; please say a command; please say a command." I shut it and reopened it. I told it to place a call. The voice said it was placing the call, then it beeped and hung up on its own. This, too, repeated four or five times. I've shut off the bluetooth and the phone has behaved normally since.
It was a great little bluetooth, but I'm looking for something a bit more reliable for a replacement. |

I bought this headset to replace the exact same model that I currently have because it was starting to wear out. I include this information to illustrate that I know how to use this headset and have been using it for years. This headset would have been the third of the same model that I have used except that it WOULD NOT LINK to my phone. I even tried to link it to my husband's phone and was unsuccessful, but could link my current headset to my husband's phone.
I would have selected no stars, but the system requires you to select at least one.
