My first time using it, I was rather amazed that it works on the first try. I just plug in the USB stick to the computer and stands at the stage to try out the powerpoint slides, and click my slides 1 by 1 with ease.
Only thing is I find it is a little pricey to buy something like this for only one purpose - powerpoint presentations. Unless, if I need to use it daily, I won't buy it.

I don't know what I did before I purchased this cordless presenter. I like to move about my audience when I present and now I am free to do so.
It has a nice long range and the laser pointer on its own is useful. I had no trouble finding the buttons to advance and reverse my slides as the Logitech is very simple and only has the essentials.
I am still on the first battery I put in it a few months ago and it is stil going strong. One of the reasons I chose this model was that it took regular AAA batteries. It also displays the battery strength on the little LCD screen and vibrates when you turn it on so you will know if it still has juice.
It does have a timer that you can set in 5 minute increments. When it goes off it vibrates just like a cell phone. Very easy to set. I have set it while in the middle of a presentation to remind myself to stop talking in 5 minutes. It then buzzes at the 2 minute and 1 minute mark.
In all, a simple and useful product. One note though, when I purchased this presenter, the cost was much lower (less than half) of what it is as I am writing this review.

PROS: TRANSITION FROM A DISTANCE. CONTROL THE VOLUME BY REMOTE (REALLY NEAT). BLACKEN THE SCREEN!
CONS: LASER COULD BE A LITTLE STRONGER! NOT A MOUSE POINTER.

The Logitech Presenter does what I need it to do. The timer is a nice feature I'm sure my audience will appreciate.

This is a great tool for presenting and improving your presentations. you can practice your flow and not worry about the size room you are presenting in. Timer and buzzer is a plus that differentiates this item from others.

I bought this to untether me from the computer in an IT class that I teach. It has great wireless range, at least 25 feet (opposite corners in the classroom). It is lightweight and the controls are easy to use without needing to look at the device. I don't use the timer, but it could be useful for some people. Works fine under Linux using OpenOffice. I appreciate the way the USB dongle stows away cleanly inside the transmitter. Battery life seems to be good (still on first battery after 14 classes, including some laser pointer use).
