| These headphones are awesome-they exceeded my expectations. My wife and I use them when we're on the treadmill; but realized I can wear them anywhere around our house or out in the yard, and still get crystal clear reception. Highly recommend if shopping for wireless headphones! |

"Sennheiser RS 130, My Opinion" | 2008-10-07 |

| I have been using the Sennheiser RS130 for approximately one month. It was purchased to alleviate a bit of domestic discord over the volume at which I listened to our Plasma TV. In order to get most of what was said I had to increase the volume to where it was intolerable for my spouse. I was grasping at straws when I ordered these headphones because I was certain that they would give substandard sound due to the wireless transmission of audio which can be interfered with in a number of ways. I was wrong. These headphones not only allow me to hear at whatever volume I choose, they actually increase my ability to hear the TV to a point better than I could have heard at any volume with just the TV alone.I now frequently use the head phones in order to better hear a program's content even when volume is not and issue. The headphones are comfortable and controls are easily accessible while wearing them. I am entirely satisfied with them and am very impressed with their quality. |

| I'm quite happy with the Sennheiser RS 130 head phones. The sound quality is excellent for wireless headphones and they are quite comfortable. The complaints I hear must be from audiophiles, because honestly, I don't hear a high pitched whine. The only thing I hear is a mild hiss when there is low or little sound, but that's to be expected from wireless head phones. The sound quality is very good and they don't have any "lag" when I'm watching TV (lips synch correctly). They are very small profile, so I just put them on top of my TV and grab 'em when I need them. br /br /I only have one complaint about these headphones...My ears get hot when I wear them. I can usually wear them for about 1 to 2 hours before I get uncomfortable. br /br /Not a ding on the product, but a ding on Sony...For those of you that own a Sony TV, be warned, Sony is stupid. You must turn OFF the TV speakers to enable audio out. It's quite irritating. So, make sure your remote has plenty of battery power, you'll be switching the audio on the TV on and off quite often. |

| I bought this wireless headset to watch tv/movies without disturbing others in the house at night. They work flawlessly! The range is great - clear reception not just throughout the 3 story house, but they can be used from the corner of our front yard to the corner of our back yard.br /br /I've hooked the base unit up to the entertainment receiver so I can listen to tv/dvd/vhs/cd/radio as I wish. The sound quality is actually better than the traditional speakers used for the entertainment center. Sometimes I even wear the headphones when the family is watching TV so I can have an even better sound experience!br /br /zero regrets! |

"very solid pair of headphones" | 2008-08-31 |

I've had these for a month and am very pleased overall. I live in a high rise and sit about 12 feet from the transmitter, and listen to tv shows rather than music with it primarily. When the frequency is clear, about 80% of the time, the sound is very rich, warm, good low and high end, as satisfying as wired headphones. Some nights, there is some distortion, and I don't what is interfering. I would recommend this to anyone that misses having the sound up high at night while the kids are sleeping. |

"MUST READ BEFORE YOU BUY - Auto-tuning and Auto-signal WARNING" | 2008-08-19 |
| - Reviewed By msaonline |
This product was absolutely perfect with the exception of its automatic signal control and tuning. Unfortunately, those two "features" rendered the unit completely unusable for me, forcing me to return it.
EXPLANATION
This product features an "automatic signal control" which will automatically adjust the volume/strength, which at first sounds like a great idea. If all you do is use this for voice/TV or music that is constant, it would be fantastic. Unfortunately, if you use this product for music with variable strength, i.e. volume/strength goes from soft to loud -- such as techno, classical, and even a lot of modern pop/rock -- this "feature" will drive you crazy. It's like listening to a song where someone is constantly turning the volume up and down.
Another "feature" that drove me crazy was the automatic tuning. Again, in theory, it sounds like a great idea. Anyone that's familiar with wireless headsets will know that the signal constantly fluctuates, especially when you turn your head a certain way, because of where the antennae is located and basic radio frequency physics. Most products respond like radios which will get slightly "static-y" when this happens. Unfortunately, when the signal fluctuates with the auto-tuning feature, you will get a sudden one-second pause of silence as it re-tunes. As annoying as any static may be, I *assure* you that having a song constantly interrupted by one-second pauses any time you move the wrong the way is *WAY* more annoying.
CONCLUSION
I've been searching for three years now to find a replacement for my Brookstone set. The Sennheiser RS 130 product was absolutely perfect in every way except for the two previously described "features" that didn't benefit the product at all. In the end, they were disturbing enough that I couldn't use the unit and keep my sanity. My search for a replacement continues... |

"Poor performance - Not worth of 115$" | 2008-08-12 |

I had ordered this product based on very high ranking in several reviews. But I was very disappointed with the performance. The Noise was beyond acceptable level. The frequency output was flat. Lows abd Highs are missing which give a very dull feeling. I have a Sony XBR4 TV and tried with outputs from DirectTV/PS3/DVDs etc. I did not find it suites anything. May be it is good for just News and I am sure you do not want to spend 115$ for that. I returned it and the return was very easy and smooth. I was very happy the way Return was handled.
I got Sony Model: MDR-RF970R from best buy and this has a better sound quality although much less then decent quality. Probably you cannot expect much from 100$ wireless Headphones. |

| These headphones provide adequate performance for gaming but probably not for serious music listening. There is a moderate amount of static which definitely interferes with quiet music passages. If you intend to listen to music, I would suggest a wired pair of headphones such as the Sennheiser HD 555. On the other hand, wireless headphones are far more convenient than a wired pair. I solved the problem by purchasing both types. |

"I don't recommend these for private listening...." | 2008-06-30 |

These headphones play as load outside as they do in your ear. The silver mess area on the outsides of the headphones are a straight shot to the speaker. So folks around you get to hear what you're listening to at the same volume as you!
I've never left a review on Amazon before but this ridiculous design flaw made me want to inform others. I purchased these on Amazon and am amazed no one else posted this remark. Hopefully this helps someone else steer clear of these if they are concerned with private listening.
Now on the upside, other than the issue described above, these headphones are pretty darn good. The wireless technology works great and they are comfortable to wear.
Just wish they would have put some thought into the noise pollution given off by these headphones. I mean, ear bud style headphones give off less noise!
Buyer beware.... |
