A few months after buying this the fat monitor just stopped working, but I'm fine with that since I was always a bit dubious of its accuracy anyway after reading about the technology. Not to mention, it's easier to just kick the button on the bottom and stand instead of fiddling around with buttons early in the morning. For that it works great and I appreciate the small increments even though I know weight can fluctuate wildly--it's still nice to see gradual progress.
A nice bonus feature is that it's great for weighing cats and babies since the button at the bottom acts as a 'tare' button where you stand on it, hit the button, and it goes to zero so you can then pick up the baby, cat or any other squirming object that needs to be weighed and there is no subtraction math or squinting for the exact weight (since one pound is a big big difference when you weigh <15!).

This scale is accurate enough to keep track of weight and fat percentage. Easy to use and read the numbers.
I bought this scale to help me lose weight. It didn't work. I weigh almost the same as before. It's been a reliable partner each morning. I get on the scale and weigh my own unique number every day - better as an identity check than a retinal scan, and at a much lower price. Excellent product.
good scale, not too picky about the surface it's on. however, i dont think it really "detects" your body composite, i think it uses your weight plus your height to calculate it.
This is a great scale, but I don't trust the body fat percentage reading at all. I've received 2 totally different readings when I take it at the same time of day 2 days in a row. But the scale works great. It's very accurate when I've compared it to the one at my doctor's office. If I had know about the body fat reading thingy, I would have just bought a regular scale I think.

I bought this scale over a year ago. It has lived up to all my expectations. It is easy to use and has held up very well. I highly recommend this product--it is a great value for the price.
