The battery looked a little rough, I was told that they ship bulk. But it does perform as needed. It holds a charge for a few days, depending on talk time. Everything I needed, and the price was right.

Pull out the old battery, slide in the new battery. It works.
The Palm TREO is a battery hog anyway, but this battery got me thru two days of moderate phone use. The original had stopped getting me thru the day.

My Treo 650 was a hand-me-down from a relative. I knew the capabilities/features of the phone were great but the battery-life was useless - 30-35min. max of talk-time. In addition, the phone had a problem with not alerting me before the battery was drained, zero functionality (random, in-the-middle-of-conversation disconnects and/or dead battery sitting idle in my pocket). A lifestyle of keeping conversations and qty. of phone calls minimal as well as constant monitoring of the battery-life status in order to have an active phone in case of a true emergency. I thought a new phone was the answer and began to research other carriers and models. I avoided the option of a battery replacement due to the reputation that battery replacements for electronics are costly. Conclusion: Found an amazing price for this battery through Amazon.com < $8.00. Arrived in about a week and life today for me is speechless. I have a great phone and a more than dependable battery. I may buy another one for the mere fact that the price is a steal. Thank you - life changing.
