| ill admit when i first got it 5 mins ago lol and saw that one cord was longer than the other i was like wtf... but i figured since it was so cheap it must just be irregular but i read another post and actually found out that the longer cord goes around the back of your neck to prevent the headset from falling on the floor when you take them out, and instead they just hang from your neck... which is a very smart thing because i've damaged alot of headsets due to them falling out and on the floor or getting stepped on... i have a palm centro and the jack fit perfect :-) but id give it a 4 out of 5 becauase the ear buds hurt a little i wish they had the same comfort as ipod head phones :-( but overall i's worth the money better than paying 50+ bucks from AT&T (love you guys but your prices are crazy at times) |

Its not the most amazing headphones I've ever bought but for the price I paid for Im happy with how they work. I love how I can go from listening to music to a phone call and vice versa. I've had them for about a month or so now and they still work pretty good.
The right side has a little buzz sound now when listening to music at a certain level but that could have been my own fault.
Also I use it on my Palm Centro which tends to get stuck thinking its still plugged in but is simply fixed but poking a tooth-pick inside which can sometimes be a hassle if you dont have one handy.
In all, if your looking for some amazing sound and what not, keep looking, but If you just want something that works and will keep you happy enough to get by for a great price, look no further. |

| These headphones are a fantastic bargain and work well. The only downside I have experienced is that there is no volume control. Speakers sometimes will sound very loud even when you have your phone volume on the lowest setting. I had other headphones prior to this & they had a volume control right on the headphone cables. However if what you want is a practical cheap pair of headphones this is it! |

| I didn't pay much for the headphones, they were definately afforable and delivery was fast and prompt. However the headphone bud is fairly large. It hurts after a while in ear. Also they constantly fall out and cut in and out of conversation. They are better if you use them for listening to music verse holding a conversation. I am happy with the shipping and delivery but not so happy with the product. I guess you get what you pay for. :( |

This earpiece set does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do. I have read the other reviews, and would like to discuss some of the bad reviews that almost stopped me from placing my order.
1. "The jack/ plug us not constructed correctly, or may need shaving/cutting to fit"-
Maybe this is an issue for older model Palm handsets, but I have the Centro, and the plug fits snug and secure with no need for fabrication.
2. "Lack of sound quality"-
They sound as great as any other "ear-bud" style earpieces. On a scale of 1-10, I give em a solid 8. Not to mention, the cord is plenty long and DOES include an in-line lapel clip. Any audiophile junkies out there would probably never consider using the Palm as a music device...and if they did, most customers would invest in serious earphones with an adapter.
3. "The earbuds are too big/uncomfortable or too small/ fall out during activity"-
Again, I disagree totally. The earpiece buds are the same STANDARD size as every other earbud on the market today. To keep them from falling out, add the included foam pads.
4. "One cord is longer than the other"-
They were designed this way, so that the mic is close to your mouth. The other designs out there with equal wire lengths require you to lapel clip the mic on your collar. I've even seen people hold the mic with their hands close to their mouth. The Palm earpiece prevents the mic from not being too far from your mouth.
5. "Cheap plastic/ poor construction"-
This earpiece set is 100% OEM genuine Palm branded. This is not a "cheap knock-off. I plan to use them almost daily, so at this price, if they last a year...it was a GREAT investment.
This is how I use my earpiece. Like I said before, I have a Centro. I needed the stereo earpiece because I use my handheld to access my Slingbox. (This is a box that you hook up to your cable/ satellite box, which allows remote TV viewing on my handheld or laptop) I do this because I go the the gym 5 days a week, and I can't stand that 5 out of 5 TV's are nothing but news or junk. So to make a long story short... I watch my favorite program on my palm, in clear stereo, for an hour a day on the treadmill, elliptical, or cycle machine.
In summary:
This earpiece is exactly what you need to enjoy stereo sound on your Palm device. I highly recommend you adding them to your cart now.
