| I bought these because I have flat feet. They have helped my feet not hurt so much in my shoes. My only complaint about this product is the velcro tabs that come with it, do NOT stay attached in the shoe. I don't know if they will fix my flat feet, but they do feel better. |

| I bought these as a last resort before seeing a podiatrist. Though not diagnosed by a Medical Doctor, I am sure I have plantar facitis. I am a nurse and am on my feet for at least 12 hours daily when working. Just before they arrived, I had so much foot pain that I considered calling in to work until I could see a doctor with the problem. The first day that I put them in my shoes I NEVER took them out. It was uncomfortable for about 2 days, but not as bad as before using the inserts. Within 3-4 days my foot pain was gone. I now wear them all the time. I use the mid-level arch insert which comes with them. The only problem I have with them is that there are only certain shoes I can wear with the orthotics-and so far no sandals and I must wear them all the time or the pain returns. But, the pain relief I have recieved has been worth it. They may not work for some, but they are worth trying if you have severe foot pain as I did. They saved me a few hundred in medical/ doctor fees. I am very happy with the product and will eventually order more. I have had them for 2 years now and they have held up well. |

I have tried out a steady stream on different foot inserts and shoes of varying sole-rigidity and arch-height all year trying to address a nasty, ongoing case of Plantar Faciitis.
I recently got a new doctor who pointed to these on the Bed, Bath and Beyond website and told me they were better than the $150 ones she could prescribe, and so far, just... wow.
These are hard plastic, molded inserts with a pretty intense arch right in the middle and 3 heights (low, medium, and high) of padding that my doctor suggested I try to graduate up through over the next couple of months, and I have to say that so far, they seem to be doing the trick.
I've been wearing them for about 2 weeks now in a pair of Nike Pegasus's that I removed the padding from (definitely remove the padding from your shoe, or if you can't, dig up ones that you can), and although as I was adjusting to them, it felt like I was being punched repeatedly in the feet, if you have feet as flat as I do, you probably realize that sensation is the brutal pummeling of hope for my fallen arches.
It did not take long for the initial intensity to give way to a feeling of muscle fatigue in my arches when walking around the city. It's a good feeling. I feel more stable when walking. I can walk much farther without getting the sickening tearing feeling of the original injury and it's easier to maintain better posture when standing.
I really think these can do wonders with someone who has flat feet like me. If you are serious about rebuilding the arch in your foot, this may be the way to go.

"Will probably help some people but not my flat feet." | 2009-07-07 |

Despite the two stars I give them, I will say these inserts are well made. For those who are able to use them they will probably work well. Despite it stating specifically on their web site that these supports will help flat footed people, I find them too painful to wear. My problem is shin pain from overpronation caused by flat feet (or at least arches that flatten out when I walk or run ). Using these is like having large, smooth rocks in my shoes. Even with the lowest arch insert they act as a fulcrum that my feet rock back and forth over. I wore them for about a half hour each morning for over a month and my feet would still hurt each time I put my shoes on. I think the problem is that the arch inserts are made of hard, inflexible plastic. For me at least there needs to be some give, without that they are unwearable for me. |

| I am more than pleased with this product! I have always been skeptical to buy anything promoted in an informational but I have suffered sciatica for too long. I bought every kind of over the counter inserts, some would provide "relief" for a littte while, but that's all. I watched bits and pieces of the commercial for this product, but of course never ordered. As time marched on, pain began to radiate to my upper back as well. I started going to the chiropractor on a regular basis. Finally I ordered it. AMAZING. As long as yuo follow the insrtuctions, you should be fine. DAY ONE: wear only for one hour DAY TWO: Where untill uncomfortable (and they can be!!) But stick in there! I can understand the analogy in the other review about "the roll of dimes". I felt it too, but I took them out of my shoes and then put them back the next day. It does take a while to get used to them as they are shifting your foot around, but after the first week I did not had ANY back pain. I have even stopped "popping" my neck, someting I have "had" to do since High School! One other thing to mention...I think it was about the second day I started wearing them full time, oddly, my shins felt like they were going to explode (if anybody was in the military and ever had to do a forced road march it felt like that). But again, I took them out for the remainder of the day, and have not experienced it since. All in all, this product did not "save my life", but it sure improved the quality of it exponentially!!! Highly recomended!!!! I have already bought more of these to give to friends! |
