Shipping sucked, Had to wait an extra week for the adapter, meaning I couldn't play it for the first week. No face plate, and a huge dent in the top of it. Has a horrible appearance.
Other than that, It's good. Does everything else it should. |

| Over all I think it is a cool gameboy. But one bad thing is it only plays gba games(GBA)gameboy advance. It has 4 light brightness levels and you can switch face plates that you buy seperate depending if it is used or not.It is small and can fit into any pocket. It takes regular headphones unlike the gameboy advance sp that needs special headphones. It depends if you want this or not.I got the sp when I was little and I played it like crazy then I later sold it for the gameboy micro. After I got the micro I decided to get the first gameboy advance.I recommend it but if you don't ,well that's ok too. |

"Very underrated console!" | 2008-11-12 |

Although it released at the end of the Game Boy's lifespan at the rise of the DS and DS Lite, this little system's still perfect for playing Game Boy Advance games on the go in an incredibly portable size. There are a few downsides to this, though: although it comes with customizable faceplates, the faceplates are very easy to break. Also, this device cannot play any of the older Game Boy titles, so keep that in mind if you love to play the older Game Boy games. Overall, it's an underrated console... but it's to be expected, coming so far into the GBA's lifespan. I would certainly reccomend this to everyone who just wants to play GBA games on the go. |

"Six year old loves the gameboy" | 2008-10-21 |

| I bought this for my six year old daughter who got really tired of her v-smile. She loved to play with her v-smile until she mastered the games. V-smile does not make cartridges for children over 7-8 year olds and she is passed this level. I did not want to buy a brand new gameboy because of her age and buying a used one work out very well for the price. Not only that; she loves it! Only downfall is, I wish that the screen was a bit larger. Worried about her eyes. |

"This Handheld changes everything" | 2008-05-29 |

When I heard about this handheld I was very skepticall.
But when I got it my life changed. When I am in the bank waiting for my turn, when I am at the subway, when I am at the movies.
Waiting now it is very fun.
I've had videogames for game boy advance since 2001, now I have about 30 games in storage, and with the game boy micro these games are alive again.
The memories of the good ol'days are back also.
I can't describe just how happy I am with this Game Boy Micro. |

| This is my first foray back into handheld platforms. Too bad I got it within the past twelve months and they are discontinuing the GBA games. This is a good pocket-sized system though. If you are looking to maybe "downsize" your GBA, pick this up. The only bummer is you can't plug it into your Gamecube. Oh well, you can't have everything. |
