"Solid upgrade to stock apple headphones" | 2009-05-27 |

These are a pretty solid upgrade to the stock headphones that came with my iPhone 3g. I run a couple of miles a day with my phone, and these guys eliminate much of the problems I was having with the headphones popping out of my ear when I run or would start to sweat. They also are much more comfortable for daily wear around the house/office and really help to isolate sound and help me focus.
Now, the down sides. Despite what some folks have said, these do not fit onto the headphones for the iPhone 3g. The 3g's headphones are slightly different then the older iPod headphones these were designed for -- the hard portion where the cord comes in blends into the headphone, rather than the cylinder and 90 degree connection, and they are slightly smaller. However, I managed to solve the problem by rolling a very small cylinder of sticky tack around the iPhone headphones. The adapters now stick on very nicely.
I found the ear nubs that came with the headphones to be very thing and not feel like they were going to stick to my ears. Thankfully, I had another two sets of broken Griffin headphones with similar, but heavier duty rubberized earbuds. After switching this out they head phones stay in place much better and feel much sturdier. So keep in mind, that these still suffer from many of the Griffin quality issues, but a little work makes them quite nice.
Clearly, this isn't a great option for audiophiles and it dulls higher frequencies quite noticeably. Also, with the adapters on, my svelte headphones now are much larger and look a little like something Frankenstein would use. But for the price they prove to be an acceptable addition. |

"These are cool!" | 2009-05-12 |

| These are cool! They snap right onto your headphones, and vastly increase the bass, and reduce outside noise. Well worth the money. Only one complaint- the first time I bought these, they came with a second, smaller set of covers that fit regular round earbuds. I have the sort of oblong or oval shaped headphones, and that is the kind that fits. But I also have the round earbuds, and they do not fit. Bummer. The little case that comes with it and the spare covers and rubber pieces is a very cool bonus. I highly reccomend these ear jams, because they make the sound much better, they are inexpensive, and they last a long time. I will definitely purchase another pair when these wear out! |

"Does what is claims to" | 2009-04-25 |

The product does what it claims to. Unfortunately i did not read the description carefully. They did not fit on the earbuds with my new iPhone 3G. I added a some tape to my earbuds and now they fit. They definately stay in the ear..i shook my head violently and they stayed in. The mid & high tones are not as crisp or loud. They definately added a lot of bass...so much so that i used the EQ setting, "reduce bass". I was also able to listen with a lower volume setting. I gave the product a 4 star because it did what it claimed. However, I would not buy another pair becuase i miss the mid & high tones. I guess i'll just have to fork out the extra cash and buy a way more expensive set of earbuds with microphone to work with my iPhone.

These do just what I'd hoped: They allow me to use my iPhone stock earbuds in loud areas. They also form a more secure fit to my ears, so the earbuds are less likely to fall out.
In response to issues raised in other reviews: If you want high quality sound, purchase some headphones or more expensive earbuds. All this product does is provide a better seal between the stock earbuds and your ears. |

"Great for my ears" | 2009-03-08 |

It may be the shape of my ears, but ear buds fall from my ears very easily. It's quite frustrating. Even if I just shake my head, at least one of them falls off. I was looking for a replacement headset when I saw these covers.
The Earbud covers fit comfortably in my ears and make the sound clearer. They don't fall off very easily, so they're just what I was looking for.
They come with three pairs of rubber ends, for three ear sizes, as well as a small protective zipper-bag. Great value. |

My husband's ears are shaped in a way that regular earbuds just fall out. We've solved that problem for regular music listening with the er6i's which jam into his ears (and has great quality, sound isolation, etc), but he still has some earbuds that he needs to use.... for example, the set that came with his cell phone, and a motorcycle intercom that we bought. He just pops these on the buds, and is able to use them without any problem.
He's not too concerned about the sound quality in this case, but rather the adaptor quality.
The negatives. Sometimes they pop off the earbud when we're storing them (note, we've never used them with iPod earbuds, just the two mentioned above). Sometimes the grey part alone pops off, and that's all too easy to lose. I can't use them at all. My ears just aren't big enough, the result being that the back of the earphone pushes against my ear - really uncomfortable!
Anyway, my husband is happy with them. |

I must have really small ear canal openings because almost ANY set of headphones without clips, or headband (or some sort of support) all fall off or out of my ears. The EarJams include 3 sizes of rubber "stoppers" which help secure them in my ears as well as blocking out environmental noise. I even stopped taking my Bose noise-canceling headphones on trips because they're too bulky and EarJams work well enough for me to hear music and watch movies. True-- they don't cancel out engine noise and hum, but they do a darn good job blocking it. Two kinds of plastic caps are included for both old and newer versions of Apple's Earbud headphones, so if you have both, you'll get a bonus pair of EarJams for the price of one!Griffin Technology 4039-EJAM EarJam Earbud Sound Enhancing Covers |

For some reason, the headphones that come with the iPod kept falling out of my ears. (I guess I was the victim of poor product design!) These work great for keeping the earphones in my ears. I wouldn't have bought them if I didn't have a problem with the regular phones, though.
Bottom line: Great if you need something to keep the phones in place |

"yes, they do fit the iPhone!!" | 2008-03-03 |

| I'm not sure why others have said these don't fit iPhone earbuds. This package comes with two sets of snap-on covers - one fits the iPhone buds and the other fits regular iPod buds. As for the sound, there really is very little difference with these covers on or off. Maybe a little less highs with the covers on, but I had to switch back and forth several times to really tell any difference. The best solution would be for Apple to offer their in-ear buds in an iPhone model with the microphone, etc. But since Apple isn't doing that, these covers are a good second choice. These are far more comfortable than the iPhone buds by themselves, and you get much better isolation from outside noise. For the price, I don't think you can go wrong by giving these a try. |
