We discovered this terrific product after months of trying other units. I had a Samsung that worked pretty good but the plastic ear hooks broke off almost immediately. I bought an Emerson at a discount store. It worked pretty good but I lost it. Later, my parents decided to buy me a Bluetooth and asked me to pick one out. We had heard good reports on the Motorola models sold by Amazon, but decided to go with the Plantronics. It looks good and works very well. It stays on my ear! It excels whenever there is background noise and it pairs well with my Motorola KRZR phone. Sometimes it will lose connection if I cover over the phone with my hand or arm. People on the other end of the conversation say that it's clear and free of static or noises most of the time. I was using a Motorola hands-free type Bluetooth in my car, but the quality was lousy. If you get out of range with the 510, it will automatically re-connect to the cell phone if you don't wait too long. My dad ended up buying all of us the Plantronics Voyager 510 and we are satisfied. I recommend the 510 to anyone who needs a good unit for a fair price.

I read all these reviews for this earpiece and had great hopes for it. the LG I tried a couple of years ago had really poor sound quality and was very uncomfortable, so I've stayed away from bluetooth headsets. When I read the reviews on the 510 I thought this has got to be better. Well while the headset is very comfortable, the sound is very muffled. I'm returning mine. If you decide to order one I hope you have better luck.

I bought this due to the good reviews on this website and have had numerous complaints from business associates and family that my voice is muffled and hard to hear with this headset. I have had better success with my cheaper Motorola.

The reviews available on this product from the amazon website really helped me make a great decision.This model may not be the "latest" technology but it's enough for me. I only use it in the car because of all the issues that have been raised about driving safety. I feel better with both hands on the wheel, both eyes on the road.I'm not a device geek but this really works for me and the few requirements i have.Simple to use, I set it up in 10 min max.Fits fine, but I do activate the connection before i go down the road because the buttons are small and can be difficult to activate if you already have it behind your ear.
