"Dissappointing product"

I have been looking for a headset to use with my iPhone 3GS that I can use while running. The earbuds provided by Apple are frustrating because they always end up falling out. So when I saw these I thought that this would be perfect for my needs. The feedback rating on Amazon for these was mixed but generally in the higher rating so I thought I would take the chance. Bad decision, the sound quality is poor and required me to set the volume at almost max to allow me to hear anything at all. They don't work well together with sunglasses and running hats, you need to have the legs of the glasses sit in top of the ear loops which then pushed against my running hat, not very comfortable. The next thing was the extender cable required to allow you to plug it into the iPhone.
The connection is poor causing intermittent sound loss in one or both of the earpieces, very frustrating!!
The earbuds themselves sort of hang down next to your ear and produce a very tinny output with very little bass.
Overall a very disappointing purchase and needless to say I am still on the look out for a decent headset with microphone.

I am extremely pleased with the Jabra Earbuds...recently used them on a trip...I thought the real test would be to see if they are loud enough to cover airplane engine noise...they do, easily. The over the ear design does hurt your ears after about 2 hours though. Comes with a small and large earbud attachment to fit your ear and an adapter so that you can use them with 3.5mm jacks. That's what I liked the most, I could use them on my cell phone (to answer calls, watch video, listen to MP3s), then add the attachment and plug it into my DVD or computer without having to switch headphones. GREAT DEAL!
"Works great for iPhone 3G"

The shipped 2.5 - 3.5mm adapter does not allow microphone use. Get the Blackberry Stereo Headset Adaptor 3.5mm Male to 2.5mm Female (HDW-15306-002) and it pairs well. You can use the mic button to shift songs, answer calls and hang up. The quality of the sound is excellent.

FOR THE PRICE THESE ARE GREAT. FITS AROUND THE EAR AND HOLDS WELL. SOUND IS VERY GOOD FOR A SMALL HEAD SET. I RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE WHO RUNS OR LIKES TO BE MOVING AROUND ALOT WHEN LISTENING TO MUSIC. HAS THE SMALL 2.5MM ATTATCHMENT END SO IT IS PRETTY MUCH ONLY FOR CELL PHONES AND OTHER SMALL DEVICES THAT DON'T HAVE THE STANDARD 3.5MM JACK,BUT IT DOES COME WITH AN ADAPTER THAT HAS THE 3.5MM JACK SO OVER ALL ITS DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY.

Best headphones I ever had. I mainly use them for my iPod but calls are very clear as well. I highly recommend this product!
"All Stereo Headphones w/ Mics are bad"

I have an LG Muziq, that I like for the most part. I have gone through more headphones then I can count - at least 3 pairs of the expensive body glove sports, a few assorted other pairs, and have already gone through 3 of these Jabras.
As far as I can tell, there isn't a single durable stereo headphone w. microphone set that works for mp3-playing phones. I have done tons of research, and have just found that EVERY thing out there that can handle stereo sound as well as let you talk on the phone, have a life of about 3 months tops. I don't know if its that I'm extra rough on them, but without fail, I will lose all sound in one of the headphones in about that time.
That being said, these things are pretty decent for what they cost. The sound isn't especially good (the body glove ones sounded great) but its there, and they do curve around your ears so they won't fall out (like if you ride your bike). Personally, I wish there was a decent set of headphones out there for music phones, but since I haven't found anything even remotely durable, I'll probably keep buying these things.
