Here is what people are saying about the Palm Z22 Handheld PDA - white
2 Star Rating  "What price simplicity?"2009-11-19

I would have rated the Z22 5 stars at the old price of $90-100. I cannot fathom where Palm gets off nearly tripling the price without changing the specification. Look what else you can purchase for $259! This is the end of the Z22, friends.

Palm relentlessly pursues mediocrity in quality and worse in service. The Z22 had to go.

4 Star Rating  "Not for Vista 64"2009-10-29

There is no driver support for a Palm Z22 with USB connection and 64 bit Vista. Device will run on a 32 bit machine with Vista. Too bad support was dropped for this rather neat device.

Too bad this item is out of production. It meets my needs which are basic and simple - no keyboard, no texting. More is not not necessarily better

5 Star Rating  "Simple to use Handheld"2009-10-25

I originally bought one of these several years ago because I was looking for a handheld without all the bells and whistles most of them have. This one fits the bill. It's easy to use and synchs with a Mac or PC. The screen on it conked out after a few years, but I'm guessing that's because I carried it in my purse with just a screen protector on it. So I just bought another one with a plastic case and I think the screen will fair better. I the second one used because the new ones are quite expensive. Either way, I'd recommend this product.

I have had my Palm Z22 for over three years now and I still love it for what I bought it for - the calendar, contacts, and photos in a small inexpensive compact package. I finally got tired of little notes all over my purse. This nice simple little Palm is perfect. At the time I was planning a trip to SE Asia and wanted to be able to share photos and addresses with new friends. The Z22 was just great for this. It served as a wonderful ice breaker, too, and allowed me to visit with many interesting strangers along the way whom I might not otherwise have had the chance to talk with. I keep mine in a simple top loading Cabela's case. When traveling I always carry an adapter for foreign plugs so no problem with recharging. I did not have any trouble with my hotsync when I updraded to Vista. Just the photo uploading program doesn't work, but I have all the photos I want on it anyway. I use mine every day and still just love it!!!!

5 Star Rating  "Just what I needed"2009-07-27

I got my Palm handheld because i wanted a simple note-taker. It does that well and more. I like that i can password protect memos that i make, its also handy being able to charge via usb or with included ac adapter.

One of my favourite programs is the Splashshopper. I am able to put in my shopping list and tick them off as i put them in the trolley. I can add new items, change prices and even put the isle that i would find them in. You can also make your own custom lists for anything.

You can synchronise the palm with your pc and download items you have added. You can make contacts on the palm and transfer to the pc and vice versa.

The included games are great too, i love playing Crazy Daisy and Sudoku, although the latter has only 100 games per level.

Personally, i was after a simple handheld with no frills and thats just what i got. I dont want to be able to play music etc so it was perfect.

I have added extra software to mine which can be found for free all over the net.

I can't think of anything that would make it better.
