with my new George Forman G5. I have had at least 4 electric and two stove top grills and none of them have fulfilled all of cooking needs. I have had it for only a week but have found a way to use it for everything. It cooks quickly and evenly. The most important advantages is that it cooks quickly and cleans up even quicker. I love how the plate comes out and clean up nicely.
I am also impressed with how Amazon handled a little glitch in my order. The first one I received was damaged. I received a new one within two days.
I have already recommended it to all my family and friends.

I have only had this for a little over one month so I can not review longevty, but so far it has worked like a charm! I have had other models and I will say after a while the non stick coating does wear off, but since this ha removeable plates insted of buying a whole new one you can just replace the plates which is a plus

imho, this is the best value of the George Foreman Grills. It has multiple heat settings, a light to tell you when it's pre-heated, and multiple removable plates for versatility and easy clean-up. It cooks burger patties from frozen in under 5 minutes (after a few minutes to heat it to MED heat), makes waffles, and has a griddle for... griddle stuff. (I haven't used that plate, but then I haven't used a frying pan since I bought it either... Maybe you're more imaginative than I am ;o) Just having removable plates and the waffle iron option made me glad I bought this one.

As a meat lover, you can't afford not having a contact grill in the kitchen. After surveying several different brands, I decided on this one because my friends highly recommended it.
The first thing we attempted on this grill was, well, waffles, because of the need to feed the kids in the morning :) There were no recipes, so we had to try-and-error several times. One can use the recipe on Bisquik's box, which can make you three rounds of waffles out of this grilling machine. The waffle is not heated uniformly: center part is hotter and brown and outer edges are not. Well, this is not a waffle machine so it's understandable.
We then tried sirloin and rib eye, both 8oz and about half inch thick. Man this machine grills perfect steaks! Do you sautee, roast, and cross fingers for getting a nice steak? Pray heartily and God will tell you just get this machine: It cooks better and spends half, a third, or a quarter of time.
We also did quite a few different flavor of sausages: Italian, Poland, and Chinese. All these sausages are done perfectly. Again, it cooks better and spends half, a third, or a quarter of time. The two dipping trays are very considerate: you can swap them during the cooking when you deal with things with extra fats like sausage.
The missing star is mainly from three things: the missing recipe (we deserve some recipe if the appliance costs more than [...], just list what cooked in TV ads are good enough!), the not-so-uniform waffle, and super short power cable. The cable is ridiculously short (<3ft) and I had no idea why. However, this is still an awesome machine worth high recommendation, it just cooks better and faster!
This grill works but after a year of usage, the plates are very difficult to clean (loss of non-stick ability). Looking back, I wish I would have purchased the warranty service because without the plates, its worthless. I only use the grill plates and its getting more and more difficult to clean them. I attempted to purchase a replacement but Foreman doesnt offer them. A good way to keep the profits flowing in, I guess. When it comes time, Im going to purchase a non-Foreman grill out of principle.
