The G5 does what you would expect: Grill up burgers and steak without an outdoor grill. However, the removable plates are a really nice feature. After a few times using the waffle plates, I have figured out the exact amount of batter to pour into each side. I have also used it to grill paninis and make eggs. The temperature is adjustable rather than just three settings, which is nice. The only thing I can really complain about is that the plates don't seem the most secure when they are snapped onto the grill. They just seem a little wobbly, though they still work fine.

it i were only rating convenience, this would get 5 stars, because at the time of purchase it was the only grill with removable plates. When i received the appliance, i was disapointed that the plates were so loose on the machine, it lacked the streamline sleekness that new appliances have, and a little heavy/bulky, like it was made 40 years ago. just my opinion. it works nice, but i have never gotten a really toased, dark grill line on anything i've cooked

It's just awesome. I love it. I have no complaints other than maybe I wish it were a different color, but that has nothing to do with how well it works. Again, the fact that it comes with 5 plates that you can do almost anything with, is great. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone out there in search of a good electric grill.

I love this product! I had a small GF then moved up to the Family and now the Grilleration. I made my first waffles ever and they were excellent. I also make panini's constantly. It's too hot outside so all the grilling is done on this grill and it's awesome. Get one-you won't regret it.

My husband requested a replacement after our 1st Foreman grill was broken falling off a shelf. Found EXACTLY what he wanted -- grill with multiple interchangeable plates (including waffles!) -- on Amazon. Amazon also had the cheapest price -- along with free shipping. Both of us very satisfied. Would definitely recommend this product to anybody.

This is the answer to everything. With limited cupboard space I do not purchase appliances that can only do one thing, it has to be versatile. When my grandmother's hand-me-down waffle iron quit I needed a new one, but I said it had to do more than waffles. This does it all. I use it for every meal: waffles, bacon, hot dogs, paninis, chicken,etc. It is so fast and stays on my counter for the next meal.

We had one of the earlier grills and replaced it with this one. I love the removable grills which can be cleaned. We have used it for steak, hot dogs and hamburger and it works well. We are glad we purchased it.

This is a great grill with so many uses. It was a gift to my husband, who does the cooking, and he loves it. Could not live without one now that we have it. It saves electricity as it heats up quickly and it keeps the kitchen cooler as we do not have to heat the oven to broil.

Excellent product. I love that the plates come off and are interchangable, it makes it sooo much easier to clean. We use it for everything. The fact that we can change the heat setting is an added bonus
