I work at home quite a bit, and I have an Avaya Soft Phone that I use to talk to clients when I am working from home or on the road. Originally, I was using the bluetooth on my laptop to connect a Jawbone headset, but the audio quality was not very good and the battery would die on the jawbone every 4 hours because you have to actually hangup the headset after you take a call each time. If you forget to hangup the headset, your battery drains very quickly. So I decided to try the CS50-USB. I have to tell you, I am extremely happy with this unit. Audio quality is great, people tell me I sound like I am talking through a normal phone handset, the battery life lasts all day, and it works flawlessly with the Avaya Soft Phone (automatically hangs up the headset to preserve battery life). So...if you want a quality headset for your soft phone, this is definitely the one to buy.

I purchased the CS50-USB Wireless Headset specifically for use with Dragon Dictate speech recognition software. It was given a 4/5 star for wireless headset accuracy. I've been very pleased with its performance and also the quality in which the hardware of the product and also the software given by Plantronics. Accuracy provided is almost as good as or even better than a wired headset. Installation was easy, and the software links directly into the sound system of the laptop PC I have. Range of the bluetooth is also good, I can still dictate 10-15 ft away from the computer. One thing kept if from giving me a 5 star rating: the headset battery goes almost to 0 if not continuously charged (for instance after 2 days in my bag. This unfortunately is important for me. Overall, an excellent wireless headset, worth the price and also the delivery was on time.

I haven't quite figured out all the features and how to work them, but for the basic function, it works great. I have Vista Ultimate. I did have an issue initially, but tech support helped me.

I got this wireless mic to use with voice recognition software (Dragon Naturally Speaking) and it seems to work pretty well. It's important to set the volume high enough or Dragon doesn't do well recognizing, but other than that it works well. Windows XP recognized it without my using the install CD that came with it. The CD contains some software for Voice Over Internet Protocol, which I don't need.

HI I bought this headset only to use with Ventrilo and Teamspeak. It works so well that the people I chat with didn't believe it was wireless. To prove it was wireless I went outside with the headset on started up my car and beeped the horn- only then did they all believe it! It is expensive, but I tried using wired USB headsets and kept breaking them because of stretching the cord. I also tried using a BlueTooth headset - it worked but it was a pain to use. This headset just works - nothing special to do - truly plug and play. I am using it with XP not Vista.

I needed a wireless mic to record live computer training sessions. I record the computer screen and my voice. I can wear this all day and it works perfect. I can roam around the room assisting people and it never misses a beat. The sound quality is terrific and with the neckband, I don't even know it is there. **Caution: one of the other trainer wore it when he left the room, walked down the hall, and used the lavatory... he got the whole thing recorded... the range may be too good.

Its a great product. I was skeptical before buying the product about its functionality. Only reason i ordered this is due to reviews on [...]. I felt the price tag $[...] is high, when i can get a wired set for some thing cheap like $[...]. At the most max, i spent is $[...] on a headset before. My family enjoys using this headset. Installation was a breeze. Before ordering i was concerned if this works with latest skype. It worked great with Skype. I am using Skype version 3.0.0.209. I can answer calls directly from head set. I installed software from plantronics website, didn't use the software that was shipped with product. Overall it's a great product. I would buy it again. Its worth the price.

i bought this devices three time, one for me at home, office and the third 1 i gave it as gift to my co-CEO who like it at all. its a powerfull unit to used it for dectating, we test it with dragon naturally speaking version 9, and the result was wonderfull. i wish if platgronics can make a research for the arabic accents and prepare a good pakage of the microphone with thr dectating program, it will be very nice.\
