| Works Great. I use it with my 3.5mm headphones to listen to mp3s on my cell phone. It also supports stereo headphones with mic, but normal headphone connection works for stereo listening. |

| In order to understand my review, let me give you a little background.br /br /So I have an RSS feed of slickdeals.net on my iGoogle homepage... I see micro SD cards for an amazing deal so I buy one. I don't own anything that uses micro SD cards, save for my phone, but I bought one anyway since I believed it was a great deal!br /br /Of course, I'm about to upgrade my phone to the LG Rumor since my girlfriend uses Sprint and I used to have a Verizon phone (and I'm a heavy texter). I finally get my phone and I'm satisfied with it, and thought I could buy some Sprint earphones to listen to music, but those earphones had HORRIBLE quality for listening to music. Great for making calls since you don't need any frequency past 300 Hz, but the earphones easily had a low frequency response. So I search for some good quality 2.5 mm headsets, but even around forums, those who seem to have good credibilty advise to buy a 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm converter.br /br /One poster who knows his 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm converters led me to this item, and I bought it without hesitation. It arrived today and I immediately tested it out. I have one word to say... Awesome.br /br /I plugged in my old Philips SHS3201/37 (white) earphones, which I've loved since I got them, and they worked as well as they would be working with my iPod. I am completely satisfied with these, and I am also upgrading my earphones to Sennheiser CX300 earphones since I read that these were good cheap ($[...]) earphones. And with that, I don't need my iPod anymore.br /br /With that, I recommend these to ANYONE who wants to listen to music on their phone as long as it's compatible with 2.5 mm headsets. |

| I was worried about this after buying a bastardized, non-working version from eBay. But this worked GREAT with my VX8350 LG phone. I still need headphones with a volume control, but I already have them. |

| I read some info online and found out this is how you get stereo sound from the jack on this phone so you can use normal stereo headphones with it. Works excellent and I couldn't find a better price. |

Works well with the 8100. Good sound considering the source. Have had no problems for a little over a month.
Tried 5 other adaptors. Only this and a unit from Jabra worked. The Jabra unit cost $15 and I destroyed two in three months. |

| I tried a similar product before, but soon learn you needed 3 rings instead of two. I was only hearing music from one side of my headphones. This seems to be the best priced adapter with 3 rings and it works extremely well. I have tried this on my Verizon VX8300 and also a Voyager. It works great on both. |

| I have a phone that has a 2.5 instead of a 3.5 so I figure I'd buy this so I can listen with my good headphones. It works technically If you hold them together and don't move for a good while. Otherwise any movement by yourself will force disconnection or distortion/crackling of audio. I bought this but I couldn't tell you where it is now ,not being used I know that. |

This does not work on my Nokia 6300. Products like these are very frustrating for me. When a phone says "2.5mm" plug, that should mean there is only a single type of 2.5mm plug. In fact, there is not!
So unless you have the Samsung SCH-A890 or a phone that a user has left positive feedback about, do not get this product! I purchased it because I thought they were universal, and this product had better reviews. |
