Finally I got a Game Boy SP again! Previously I had a NES Classic edition but it got jacked by the workers who installed the wood flooring for my home a few years ago.
This Pearl Blue color(which I got) along with Pearl Pink and Graphite were the last model Nintendo made in 2006. Unlike previous colors/models, these later models have a different backlit system. You can't turn the backlit off, instead there is a super bright mode in addition to the regular bright mode. I'm very impressed with this new backlit feature, thanks Nintendo. It was impossible to find a new Game Boy SP, so I had to settle for a used one from Gamestop, I went to many Gamestops to find one that was in the best possible condition without scratches on the clear LCD cover, although many were in good condition but I wanted a GOOD one. The AC Adapter charger is upgraded as well, it's significantly smaller than previous version.
Overall if you want an awesome video game system or handheld get a Game Boy SP! It's portable so you can play at work, beach, book store, on the bed, in the bathroom, or wherever. Make sure you pick the latest color/model plus its battery is fresher too. |

| I've had the 1st release version of GBA SP before and liked it right away. But for this it's different. It has a backlight aside from the real light. for better viewing/playtime of your games, which makes me love it. Plus this system lets you play any game from past game boy systems without the haggle on problem seeing what you're doing at the dark! hehehe. I can stay up late play at night without getting caught by my parents! Anyway, i'd definetly suggest this for your kids or yourself anytime. Great present also! |

| My 6 yr old son waited a couple of months to get it for his 6th birthday and when he got it, he loved it. He has been playing it a lot and still likes it. |

| Se lo regalé a mi hijo menor para que no sintiera celos porque tenía que compartir uno con su hermano. Horas y horas jugando. De verdad que la cantidad de títulos que se consiguen nos hace mantenernos entretenidos. Pero para los niños de hoy en día si tiene más de 7 años lo que le interesa es un aparato más poderoso, mejor calidad de gráficos, pantalla más grande; les recomiendo el psp. |

| The people at Nintendo do one thing great and that is gaming. Whether it's the Gameboy, DS, or the Wii they just do it right. My son really enjoys playing with his gameboy. I have tried it too and I have to admit it's quite addictive. Top marks for this game. |

| This Game Boy Advance is small so you can take it anywhere you want to go. The screen is large enough for detailed graphics. There are more than enough games for you to choose to purchase seperately for this game. |

| What's not to like?? This is the BEST portable game machine ever made! It's more compact, and so easier to take along, then the Nintendo DS. There are a ton of games made for it and most of them are good for hours and hours of fun! There are many games for the GBA that have player's guides which make the game super fun to play. This latest version of the GBA has even a brighter screen then the earlier models. Even my 59 year old eyes can see this screen with it's bright, beautiful colors. I'm still buying new games and there are so many used ones that can be had at a great price. The Pearl Blue edition is really slick looking and there are also hot colors like the Ruby Red one I got for my daughter. If you like video games this is the player to get, you won't be sorry! |
