Had this for a little over a week and very happy with it. Outside air temp monitor was a breeze to set up and works great. Clock periodically checks itself against the time standard in Colorado and corrects as necessary. It even automatically changes with daylight saving time. Very convenient. br /br /Best feature is the projected time and outside temp. The display toggles between the two every 2 seconds or so. The room has to be darkened to read it which is fine with me. Easy to read even with my glasses off but not bright enough to distract you from sleep. Easy to position the projection no matter what the physical orientation of the projector is. br /br /Reading the fixed clock display in the dark is different. You must press any button to get it to light up as it is normally off. I worry that I might hit the wrong button and turn off the alarm, so I don't touch it without the room lights on. Not a huge deal since the projector works great. Speaking of the alarm, it is beeping sound and plenty loud to wake up both of us.br /br /I recommend this unit if you want the projected display. Otherwise, you might be disappointed.

this is our 3rd LaCrosse clock. One of the other ones stopped giving the outside temp. This one has only 1 alarm setting, the old ones had two alarm settings. The old one had a setting that once you tapped the snooze bar, the alarm would not sound again. This newer one doesn't allow that, unless I have missed a setup option. You have to actually touch the device, any key onthe front - not the snooze bar - to get it to shut up until the next morning. It does show indoor humidity, but I just want it to shut up after the first tap. LOL

I absolutely relied on this gizmo to chose my outfits for work as there was no question when I needed to add a sweater before leaving. However, the outside temperature reading no longer works. I went to their online site and followed all the instructions, but alas, could not get it to work again!

I like this product but would like it even better if there were a way to keep the projection light on at all times in the dark. It is difficult to find the button to turn the light on in a dark room in the middle of the night.

The alarm continues for 80 or so seconds, then stops for the day. Other alarm clocks require some sort of intervention to stop them, but this one doesn't. The alarm is rather quiet, difficult to hear even only two feet from my head. Projection works fine, thermometers work fine, both indoors and out.

Well, I have been woken up an hour early every morning or not at all because the alarm clock updates at midnight and I don't know how to fix it. So frustrating. The only reason it got a 2 star review instead of 1 star is because I like the temperature readings.

We think this product is outstanding. Yes, you have to be able to follow directions and interpret them, as you must with VCR's, etc. Ours was up and running in five minutes. We were surprised that you could see the display without total darkness. Plus it is not so bright as to be a distraction. The projection is electronically rotatable via the center button. The fact that the clock's accuracy is assured with radio reception from WWV is most excellent. I'm sorry I didn't get one for each of our kids. The outdoor sensor can be set up with all of the clocks so only one is needed for all. For others that have issues with these more complex units, stay with the analog clocks! The only drawback we saw was the main display is hard to see when you turn the illumination on. So we just use the projection.
