| I've had several Oregon Scientific units and was not satisfied with their temp/humid readings: some units close, others way off from actual. Spend a little more for this unit and you will see that you got what you paid for. La Crosse actually has live phone tech support. The barometer feature is very nice. Response time for sensors is rather slow but for the money paid it's OK. |

"Very poor quality clock" | 2008-05-19 |

| I purchased this weather station three months ago, and have generally been happy with the weather aspects of it. I live on Cape Cod and am beyond the atomic clock radio signal from Colorado that sets the time. I wasn't too concerned about that because the write-up on Amazon said the clock on this unit can also be set manually. In the three months that I have had the unit, it has gained four hours. Even the cheapest digital watch you could buy would keep better time than that. I am disappointed that they scrimped on the clock - putting in an accurate clock would probably added a couple of cents to the cost. |

This wireless weather station provides the necessary data to determine what coat will be needed, if an umbrella will be required for the day, if we will experience a humid day and the weather trend for the the coming hours. This is a very useful and helpful tool for our daily living. Enjoy.

This is a good atomic clock/day-date/moon phase/indoor-outdoor temp & humidity/barometric pressure-forecast instrument. Would have preferred month-date-year display (12.25.2008) instead of day-date display (Tu-25). A back light button would have been a nice touch as well. Do some models come with the Weather Channel logo like the web page shows and some don't? The outside remote sensor is compact and easy to mount with a couple of configurations. I've had it for a couple of weeks and it seems to be well built and a quality product. |
