| This console is by far the best you're gonna get this generation. Microsoft has come along way when you compare the Xbox 360 to it's brother the Xbox 1. Microsoft actually listended to what gamers wanted, and that's fun hardcore games, amazing online, and custimizable dashboards. This is truly a system that can't be beat, you can enjoy all types of games such as Gears of War 1 and 2 come this November 2008, Mass Effect, Halo 3 (probably 4 in a year or two) and Netflix on your 360. As always when there are goods things about something there are bad things too! As you may already know, these Xbox 360's suffer from what is known as the RROD or (Read Ring of Death) which is when you get three-flashing-red-lights which is an indicator of a severe hardware failure. Thank goodness Microsoft extended everyones warranty for free to 3 years, ONLY if you experience the 3rrod error. Lastly, the customer service @ Microsoft sucks, they don't care about your issue, the people you speak to are overseas and don't speak english clearly enough to communicate to you as to what the solution will be, and again THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKKKKKKSS!!! Other than that the 360 beats it's competitors by far. Kudos to Microsoft for making a system that just can't be beat, but Microsoft work on your customer service a LOT more because in the end that goes along way as to where you stand with your reputation. |

| I've seen some previous reviews and highly disagree with 'em. People, if you wanted memory alongside this, you shoulda read the description better. As for me, these people have done nothing but watch my back. I purchased one way back in January and it still runs smooth as silk. I had all my cords and memory and whatnot from my previous and busted 360. and in my opinion, it ran better. When I went to buy another as a gift for a friend, the first thing that happened was they asked me if it was because the last one I bought was busted already. They gave me instructions that were not only beneficial but very kind. These people look out for their customers unlike the rest of of the customer services I dealt with. I for one have never once made a regret of buying this. But for those who just rush shop and not pay attention, then, yeah, let the buyer beware. |

Pre ordered it 11/05 got & it a week after release. Purchased the hard drive when it released as well. 3 plus years in a well ventilated area w/intercooler and it only just crapped out. It now blinks a beautiful shade of red. I still recommend the 360 as the better of the two systems. I've had alot better luck with Microsoft than Sony. I still have my original Xbox in working condition. Can't say the same for PS2(went through 2 in 3 years). I'll definetely get a new 360 soon. It's worth getting again. |

"Xbox tampered with - wtf?" | 2008-04-18 |

I am in shock. The Xbox360 was alot of fun until I got the red rings of death. I called Xbox help and they sent a box. I followed the instructions in the box. Took the game out and took off the harddrive. I put the stupid thing in the box and dropped it off at UPS. I got an email a couple of days later saying that it had been shipped back to me. I received it "unrepaired" with a letter saying that I violated the Extended Warranty. I called Xbox and they told me it wasn't repaired because I tampered with it. I can't believe it. I never opened it or did anything to it other then mail it. They are cheats completely. The amount of money microsoft is making and they call me a liar instead of fixing it. I could only talk to an Indian guy (he was nice) and all he could tell me is I tampered with it and sorry.
MIcrosoft's does not want to take a hit on all these crappily made consoles. |

| This system may not come with the Hard drive and the wireless controllers, but it lasted my entire deployment to Iraq through duststorm and 130 degree heat, and that was the 1st generation. The new ones don't have the overeat issue as much so this is still a good product. Plus go on ebay and buy a hard drive for really cheap instead of the normal extra $100 dollar price. And is rolling up the controller really that big a deal. Get up and unplug it... fight world obesity. |

| I bought the xbox 360 for my son as a Christmas present. However, upon opening it, we found that part of the controller cable was missing so he couldn't play any games. We drove 30 miles to a Wal Mart and he bought a new controller, which came equipped with the correct cable/breakaway piece. I emailed the seller, but have yet to hear one word back! I definitely would NOT buy anything from this merchant again. |

| Im a little dissapointed though. I just bought live and instead of gold membership mine came with 1 month free of silver, which is a bad thing because silver dosent let you play online games. but so far its okay. still running, working good for 8+ months. im buying the 20GB attachment so its not as crappy as it was when i got it. i would reccomend buying the 20GB system, but if you cant afford buy this and save up for a 20GB attachment. |

| This is the first negative review I've ever written. Purchased this system as a gift for the kids last Christmas. First System worked beyond the 30 day return period. Second System worked for a week. Third system never worked! They shipped us a non-working system. We are now on the phone for over 2 hours trying to get a 4th system. The aggravation in trying to get a working system is definitely not worth it! Having invested a ton of money in games, it's a nightmare. |
