Use a similar phone while working in Brazil. I am very happy with it. Have picked up the phones for a co worker.

It is a shame that the computer has to stay on. the voice quality is good on my end an OK on the other. But you can't really surf the web while talking or you will get bad connection. Cute and efficient design. Sometimes it freezes on the my Mac and I have to replug the USB line.
For what it is, its good. I would have given it a four star but MYGEARSTORE annoyed me a bit. the first phone was defective and it is impossible to get in touch with them (feels like a one man operation). Must email them and be patient!
I love this phone! I own a mac, and it's so hard to find a Skype phone... a real one. This is Skype certified, so I knew it'd work. What I didn't expect was the clarity of the voice. When 2 people use Skype, and you listen in with this baby, it's much clearer than a regular phone! Awesome.
I purchased the IPEVO phone a couple of months ago (in White) and it's okay. Like other's reviewing, running an application instead of a driver is a little cumbersome, but I don't use it all the time unless I am making a direct call over Skype. It doesn't take up much room in my bag and complements my Macbook. The reason for three stars... Support is not the best. Can only get by email from IPEVO and they do not keep up correspondence. The long cord is not needed by me. About half the length would be fine or something retractable would be even better. At one point my favorite government bureaucracy, TSA, wanted to see what it was, as I had the phone in my bag with six feet of phone cable wrapped around it. Biggest problem I have is when calling someone and you have to enter a menu item (press 1 for...), it gives off a double tone. Of course this makes it useless and I have to revert to the keypad in the Skpe window. I have returned the phone once and not sure if a new one or the same was returned back to me, but it still has this problem. I don't know if it is because I have a call recorder installed as well, a problem with Skype, or something else, but it is frustrating to not be able to use the keypad after connecting without giving off a double tone.
I will probably look around in the future for something better to use with the Macbook. I have already seen a couple of other phones that are much less in price, but haven't seen any reviews to judge their quality.
This phone worked pretty well on my old PowerBOok and my new MacBook for a while but eventually stopped showing up when I plugged it into the USB port. I opened the phone and found that the shielding wires from the cable were splayed out all over and I think they were shorting out against some other components. I cleaned it up and it's working again but I'm sure that's not the last of the problems: it's kind of a cheap toy-like phone. In the end, it's way better than the headsets that I've used and better than talking at my MacBook (which, surprisingly, works fine with Skype - no headphones, etc just talking toward the MacBook .. no feedback occurs). Also, this cable problem has nothing to with rough handling on my part or poor design of the cable. It looks like it's just sloppy assembly. I'll probably try a cordless one when this breaks but for now it's still doing it's job and it's lasted a LOT longer than I expected. Not bad for the low price.
