| I'm so pleased with my steamer. I have a textured tiles floor in my kitchen which gets SOOOO dirty the dogs & kids. The only way I could get the dirt out of the tiny cervices was to get down on my hand & knees and scrub. I bought the steamer specifically for this use and it's been great. The tiles came out nice and clean with the scrubber. Now, just the large "mop" attachment is all I need for light cleaning. When I need to, I just pop on the scrubber. I do need to replace the scrubber because I was a bit hard on it. I love the fact that it steam cleans with just water and I have no chemical residues or smells after. It does a decent job on the white grout on my countertops but those are pretty stained from coffee so they don't get completely clean. It did make a big difference on the beige grout on the floors though. Those took a little scrubbing but it did the job. The only thing is that a mop is so much easier to store than a bulky machine but the trade off is worth it. The washable cover is so easy to throw in with towels. It came out nice and clean. Can't clean a mop that good so no spreading around "leftover" bacteria! I don't think it's good for cleaning the tub & fixtures as other reviews say. That's just better off with a sponge, hot water & Clorox cleanup spray. |

I purchased this item today at Lowe's. Works great, love it - HOWEVER, you can not find replacement parts if something brakes NO PLACE to get extra 'pocket towels' and you definately need more than one towel. DO NOT PURCHASE - I returned the item today - one towel cleans 1-2 rooms. Yes, you can wash it and reuse it, but you need extra towels to finish the job!!! If something breaks you WILL NOT get replacement parts. I went to the Shark website - model #S3325 - NO PRODUCT FOUND! If anyone knows where to get replacement pocket towels PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! |

"Leaves my kitchen floor looking beautiful" | 2009-08-06 |

I love this shark! I use it mainly for doing my entry, kitchen, and breakfast nook tile. It leave the floor looking like new. I have not tried it on other things because the whole idea of carrying it around, then steam, wipe, steam, wipe, sounds way too time consuming. I may try it, though, at least in the kitchen, since i'm in there any way.
PROS 1. Works great on tile 2. Heats up quickly 3. Has lots of accessories 4. Fun to use 5. No chemicals 6. Easy to use 7. Floors dry quickly
CONS 1. No way to tell what the water level is 2. Only came with one mop head, and our floor is unfortunately too dirty for one. It has never come truly clean 3. Cumbersome to lug around the house to clean 4. Using water and electricity 5. Mop head did not clean up stains, but I was able to use the scrub brush to get them up.
All in all, I would highly recommend this product because it does a good job cleaning, is fun, and easy to use! |

| I love floor steamers. I had a Shark steamer before this one. Same model but used tap water in it. It quit running about 3 months after it was given to me as a gift. I called the company but nothing worked and they wanted me to ship it back to them. Too big of a hassle and expense. So this time I ordered the same model because I love the flexibility of this steamer. From the first time I used this one from Amazon, I used only distilled water and I run the steamer until it is out of water. So far so good. No germs on my floor or in my bathrooms. I steam my floors about every 3 or 4 days and have had this steamer since the middle of May. Oh, and I have tile. Makes it shine even more. |

I purchased this item after having spent an entire day cleaning grout in my tile kitchen floor some months ago. Of course, over the months, the soil returned. Baking soda and peroxide do remove the soil but a day on your knees is as much fun as oral surgery. The Shark Steam Blaster with the nylon cleaning brushes did an excellent job of cleaning and the entire job took only 45 minutes. I am happy to say that my light colored grout has a "like new" look.
Hint: When doing tile it pays to take it slow and easy with the wand. Let it go very slowly in the grout groove and then scrub gently about 1 inch, back and forth, at a time. I found that this cuts overall cleaning time and results in a better overall job. Although I purchased the machine primarily for my tile floor I can't wait to give it a go on many other household cleaning chores. Definitely worth the price! |

"Excellent product!!!" | 2009-06-08 |

This little hummer works!! I have used it to clean the floor, cabinet doors, front of kitchen appliances, top of baseboards, and on and on.
It puts out an incredible amount of steam. It only comes with one pad, and you will definitely want more. However, they will go a long way without getting wet. But, once it is really dirty - and you can use both sides - you can't really rinse it out and start again.
The machine itself fills easily, and one tank goes a long way. I tried it first on a white 12" tile kitchen floor. I thought it was clean, but this thing made it white like it hasn't been for ages. Then tried it on the cabinet doors. Above the range, there were old grease spots I've been trying to take off seems like forever. After the third go round, they have nearly disappeared. And no paint came off in the process.
It isn't necessary to push at all. The wand with the "mop" isn't heavy at all. It has several attachments. The window cleaner squeegie thing didn't work well, so I put a cloth on and used it that way, then dried it with a dry cloth. No streaks, spots, nothing but clean glass.
I do have a FloorMate I've used for a long time. Comparatively, the steamer wins hands down. It gets right up to the wall and reaches corners much better. It also doesn't put ANY pressure on your back. |
