| I bought this iron about 10 months ago and paid $129.00 for it. I am a quiter and it was perfect for my needs. Loved the lifting mechanism and the amount of steam it put out. When I bought this iron, I expected a few years of use for the amount of money I spent on it. It died!!!! Stopped heating. Going out to buy a Rowenta. |

"Great Quilting Iron!! Even My Hubby Likes It!!" | 2008-07-23 |

Got this iron (non-stick sole plate) over two years ago. Have used it every day and love it. The "feet" have saved me from burning myself, and less strain on my hands and wrists - very important when you're ironing as much fabric as I do!
Only problem recently has been that my hubby lets the water resevoir run low and then the steam button sticks in the "down" position. He uses it every day too!
Like any appliance using water - ALWAYS use bottled NOT tap water - they will last longer and are much less likely to break sue to sediment build up.
Even with the steam button sticking occasionally - given how long I've had it and how hard it is used, this definitely rates 5 stars. |

| I bought this iron, and it worked less than 5 minutes. I got a rude man at customer service, told me to return iron where I bought it. When I told him I got it online, he said the damage must have been caused by shipping. Warranty does NOT cover shipping damage! Told me I could pay to ship it to San Francisco, they may or may not cover it, might send it back in 6 weeks. When I tried to ask him what would make the light start blinking yellow and ticking loudly, he told me in a rude voice that he was NOT technical support. I e-mailed them, still have not gotten a response after a week. A cheap iron from Walmart would have been a better investment. Would have given 0 stars, but not an option. |

| I loved this iron, right up until it died after 11 months. The feet still work but the heating element burned up. Irons should last more than a year or they should cost a lot less than they do. |

| Very good iron. Water-well is very easy to fill, the "kick-stand" is absolutely wonderful, but I wish it would glide a bit more smoothly - perhaps they should put Teflon on the plate? |

I was hesitant to buy this iron as it had some bad reviews. I am a quilter and this has been a great iron so far. It doesn't tip easily and I get such a kick out of the elevator feet. Steam probably could be better, but for quilting it is fine. I would think for pants or tailoring probably not the best steam.
It is not noisy, and I have had great fun and amusement using it, just hard to not set it upright takes awhile to get use to that. It was worth it to me. |

"Best Iron I've ever owned" | 2006-11-18 |

Let me tell you, I hate ironing. As an incoming student in college, my mom and I had this gigantic fight because she absolutely wanted me to bring an iron to school. I relented and was the only person in the dorms to ever have an iron for the four years of college.
That story would be different if the Oliso iron was created then! The Oliso iron is an amazing thing. I can't get over the amazingness of the legs lifting up and down! It seriously makes ironing an enjoyable thing. I ironed a few shirts for a business trips a few weeks ago with my new Oliso iron and it was really quite enjoyable. I like the iron's really powerful burst of steam too. It really gets to those really annoying wrinkles on my dress shirts. It almost feels like a pet, or a friend while you're ironing. Its up and down noise makes me feel like i'm not alone.
The up and down function also makes it feel like I don't have to strain as I am ironing. It made ironing the 10 dress shirts I needed quite fun. I've told all my friends about this iron and everyone can't get over how awesome it is. Trust me this isn't just another sort of tech gadget gizmo thing, its really helped me iron and made it quite fun too!
And did I say steam? Yes the steam on this iron is absolutely fantastic. It makes me feel really powerful as I press that burst of steam and let go of all those wrinkles. With my old Sunbeam (yes the one my mom made me take)I used to have to go through the iron like 20 billion times before it actual got the wrinkles out.
Go Oliso! |

After about 5 weeks of occasional use, the legs of the iron don't come out anymore! Isn't it convenient the company only has a 30-day return policy! Because that's about how long this iron lasts!!
Don't waste your money on this iron! |

| This iron is amazing the way it automatically raises off the surface as soon as your hand is removed from the handle (just like magic). I also like the steam feature that seems so much stronger than the other irons we have. This iron is safer and the time spent ironing is less when you don't have to stand it up while adjusting the fabric. I'm very glad I purchased this iron for our family! |
