Latest 6 Reviews Here is what people are saying about the Monster Ultra Series THX 1000 Speaker Cable with Monster Tips for Center Channel 10 ft. single Speaker Cable
Professional quality, high-end look...what else can I say?...go get some for yourself.
I bought 3 pairs and bi-amplified front and center speakers. They sound dammmmmm good.
I was hesitant about how good these cables would actually be, but once they arrived and i felt how heavy they were and how well the sheathing was made all doubts were erased, they perform excellently. I would definately recommend these to anyone interested in them but not interested in paying the monster price.
This speaker cable fits perfectly inside my receiver's binding posts on one end and is an equally snug fit inside my Mirage banana plug speakers outlet. Have never had to re-adjust the cables on either end due to sound waves interference or speaker impedance. Dependable product that has satisfied me for over four years.
I bought this cable to connect a new Polk CSi3 speaker to my home theater system. The banana plugs take up more space than I expected, and do not make a snug fit with my receiver and speaker binding posts. This surprised me, since the Monster Quicklock banana plugs that I have used with Monster XP speaker wire provide a very secure fit with my binding posts. In addition, I had to connect one of the terminals upside down in order to avoid reversing the phase of the speaker. (Be very careful with this type of factory-terminated Monster cable, or you may accidentally reverse the polarity of the speaker connection) This made the speaker connection even less secure. The sound coming out of the speaker was bright and fatiguing. I'm not sure if this was due to the cable, the speaker not being broken in yet, or the source material. I now have the speaker connected with some old Monster XP cable with Quicklock banana terminals, and the speaker sounds great. I returned the Monster Ultra Series THX 1000 Speaker Cable. If the diameter of your binding posts is less, you have more room at the rear of your receiver, and you like a bright sound, you might like this cable. For me, inexpensive XP cable with Quicklock banana plugs is a better choice.
I've been using quality cable/speaker wire for my system for some time now but recently I was introduce to the new Ultra THX 1000 and Z line monster cable. If you want to hear what the creators of the latest movies wanted you to hear then Monster is the way to go.
I am a person who mainly listens to the overall music rather than spending time to pickout each and every instrument while listeing to a music album. However I should admit that after listeing to my music system using the monster cable, overall the listening has become more enjoyable. In fact while listening to the song "HotelCalifornia" I almost felt that some unwanted sounds also have started coming through my speakers, as over year of listening, I was tuned to certain sounds and when the new cable started reproducing sounds which was previously not heard, it was a total surprise. There was a noticable improvement over my previous cable in terms of bass (earlier was Monster THX hometheater cable, biwired by me using monster banana plugs) and the postioning of vocals and lead instruments was more clear which I earlier thought was more of the imagination of the reviewer.
I am very happy about this buy and would recomment the same to anybody who have a good mid-end amp/speakers.
