Despite some previous posts, the rack bolted on to my FJ, just as described, though there was no slack. It would be a problem with larger tires. Rack is rock solid, looks great and gives a bonus advantage of securing the spare tire with a keyed lock. Without the rack, my tire was only secured with three lug bolts. The lock on the Tule rack serves to secure the tire, as well as the rack.

The support rails are very wide. It fit one of our Trek's but was too wide for my wife's bike. Thule really needs to publish dimensions in the specs above so you can see if your bikes will fit.

If you've got a wrangler and a bike chances are you've looked at this model a few times.....It looks great, its easy to install, it incredibly durable, its relatively cheap

Well design product. Sturdy. Hold my bike very well. Easy to install on my 02 CRV. Setting up and taking off is a snap, less than 5 mins. The price is a bit steep but it worth every penny.

Excellent bike rack. Very solid. Put it on my 2005 CRV, fits perfectly. It is nice that I can leave the rack on and still open the back cargo bay, both the door and the glass. Rack adjusts for offset mounted spare (like on the CRV), but still is not quite centered. That does not seem to be a problem. Bikes fit on just fine.
