the negative is that there just isn't an instructional video that shows techniques...there is a learning curve you have to go through...it is NOT as easy as it made to look on TV...the only other negative is that there is no way to store the power cord... the positive is that I am improving and getting better results in a shorter amount of time...it's taken patience...bottom line, it's a thumbs up...I like the results I'm getting now and it is easy, once you learn how... |

| The steamer takes a bit of getting used to, but it works well for all the shirts I had to do. It's easy to put together and steam comes out quickly and consistently. The only problem I ran into were the hard wrinkles that took 2-3 passes. But it beats a steam iron. |

"I now can iron !" | 2008-06-14 |

| I'm a guy and I've always been terrible at ironing and I hate it. My wife bought me this present for fathers day and when I opened it I was at first disappointed. (I was secretly hoping for a Blu Ray Player) But I have seen the infomercials about these steam products and was curious if they really work. Well my BW and I followed directions and in no time got it up and running. (very easy to assemble) The directions on how to iron using steam were poor but after experiementing different ways on using the wand, I can tell you I am an expert at ironing with steam. The wand not only removes wrinkles, it also removes lint very well! I did 6 short sleeve various heavly wrinkled polo shirts and as I used the unit more I became faster and better at it. Then I tried a linen shirt that my BW said can only be dry cleaned. It took a little longer than a polo shirt, but it worked well. All wrinkles removed. Before going to the gym, took the wrinkles out of my gym shirt! Haven't tried jeans yet, but I can tell that they will work well. There is a very slight water drip that can come from the wand, but I did not find it to be a problem and you can eliminate this by how long you hold the wand trigger. We will keep this in our laundry room and it will get much use. Very happy! |

| I was happy with this product when it worked, but it didn't last long enough to justify the expense (in spite of the fact that I was very careful to follow all manufacturer's instructions). It stopped working on my first morning back to school, and as a teacher/mother, I don't have time for the last minute crisis it created. I'm looking for a better one to purchase, but because I didn't get my money's worth from this one, I'm worried about spending too much for the next one. |

"Good steamer, but broke down after two years" | 2007-08-20 |

I bought this steamer in August 2005, and I swore I would never iron again. I used it 2-3 times a week, and it was fantastic. The only problem I had was that it would occasionally get clogged with mineral deposits which would come out onto the clothes, but using distilled water helped solve that problem.
But a month ago, the heating element in the main unit stopped working. Top Innovations said they could send a new unit, but the cost of that was only a little less than buying a whole new steamer. I've noticed that most clothing stores use steamers made by Jiffy, which is where my next steamer will be coming from. |

| I have had this since Good Housekeeping promoted it as the best. After a few months I had drips and I used distilled water but it would leave a white powder sometimes when dripping. After a year old the dripping started to be black water which I have ruined many items. Now today, the button you press to steam with is about ready to fall out. I think I would try another brand. |

| I would highly recommend this steamer for female clothing that is delicate. I used this on some of my wrinkled dresses and silk tops which worked perfectly. Watch out for the occassional drip. There's nothing like an old school iron which can burn those creases in! |

| I THINK ITS GREAT AND AS FOR THE DRIPPING WATER FROM STEAMER SPOUT ,YOU JUST HAVE TO HOLD THE TRIGGER OTHER WISE THE WATER WILL COOL DOWN AND DRIP INSTEAD OF STEAM. ITS JUST A TRICK.A FEW TIMES USING THE STEAMER YOULL GET IT. I LIKE IT ALOT ,I HAVE AN IRON I GOT BY THIS BRAND AND IT IS WONDERFUL TOO.I RECCOMMEND THIS BRAND ALOT. |
